Waste of money, trays break easily.
The product description says sooooooo much about being “crack proof”. That’s garbage because it just cracked on me today and I haven’t been using this tray for very long. The ice cubes are fine and they freeze pretty quickly but overall it was a waste of money given how it cracked in half and is not impossible to twist to get ice cubes out now.

Smaller ice cubes can make your drink colder more quickly, but that means they dilute your drink sooner, but there is a SECRET!!
This is a nice addition to my freezer space. I really like having a choice between regular ice cubes and these mini ice cubes. I highly recommend having at least two of these trays (two trays in one package) in your freezer along with your regular trays. But, as in life, for every advantage, there is a disadvantage.ADVANTAGEThere's a reason why many fast food places use crushed ice. The smaller each piece of ice, the faster it cools your drink. The only way to cool something faster is to use spherical ice cubes.DISADVANTAGEIce cubes transfer their coldness to the drink by a very simple method, they melt. As the temperature of the drink gets colder, the temperature of the surface of the ice gets warmer, which means the surface is melting.THERE IS A SECRET TO MAKING THE CUBES KEEP YOUR DRINK COLDER LONGERThe colder the drink is BEFORE you pour it over the ice, the longer the ice will last, the less it will dilute the drink, and the longer the drink will stay cold. Some people would say that putting the cubes into the drink is better than pouring the drink over the ice, which I kind of agree with, but do not have any mathematics to support that idea. I don't think the difference is big enough to make any change in your ice methods beneficial in this "over or under" method.NOTE: Most people will want to ignore the rest of my review. I get into High School Geometry, and make up my own "Coolness Quotient" formula as part of that explanation.RECOMMENDATION: DO YOU NEED THESE CUBES?These cubes are more of a conversation piece than they are of normal use around your house, but for a party, they can be a lot of fun. I rarely use my mini cube trays because I rarely have parties.ONLY GEEKS NEED TO READ FURTHERThe rest of my review is based on high school geometry. If you're not that into math (or maths in the UK), you might want to skip down to the very end.WHY DO MINI CUBES COOL FASTER THAN REGULAR CUBES?Let's apply some high school geometry and see what we get. We will compare the efficiency of two different sized cubes.1. Calculate the surface area of one regular ice cube2. Calculate the volume of that same ice cube3. Divide the first number by the second number4. Calculate the surface area of one mini ice cube5. Calculate the volume of that mini ice cube6. Divide the surface area by the volume of the mini cubeThe larger the quotient (the answer to #3 and #6), the faster it cools, but the faster it dilutes.Lets do the calculations for one inch and one-half inch cubes to demonstrate.Surface Area = 6 * length ^ squaredVolume = length ^ cubedOne Inch Ice Cube (all sides equal one inch)--- Surface Area = 6 * 1^2 = 6 * 1 = 6 square inches--- Volume = 1^3 = 1 cubic inch--- Coolness Quotient = 6 / 1 = 6Half Inch Ice Cube (all sides equal half an inch)--- Surface Area = 6 * 0.5 ^ 2 = 6 * 0.25 = 1.5--- Volume = 0.5 ^ 3 = 0.125 cubic inches--- Coolness Quotient = 1.5 / 0.125 = 12Since 12 is twice as large as 6, we can guess that half inch cubes get things colder twice as fast but melt twice as fast. Of course, this is based on similar volumes (weights) of the ice. One regular one inch cube is equal to eight mini half inch cubes in volume or weight.I will leave it to the nerds to try the same things with spherical ice cubes that have the same volume as these mini cubes or regular cubes.RECOMMENDATIONIf you have kids, get these and encourage them to do some experimentation between the two sizes of cubes. I do highly recommend these cubes for their curiosity value. That's the main reason I bought them.

Don't stack them!
This is one of the best ice cube trays I have had in a while. I love small ice to chew on and it's nice to have ice that will fit inside of a water bottle. The only issue that I had was I ended up stacking them while they were in the process of freezing and it made it harder for the bottom tray to release the ice. Other than that, the quality of the trays is the best. They are super durable and worth it!

Not at all flexible
I don't recommend these at all. They're made of a very stiff hard plastic, so flexing them to get the ice out is basucally impossible unless the user has super strong hands. I replaced these immediately, they were a total waste of money for me.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Completely Useless!
You might think this would be a flexible plastic. It's not. It's as hard as a rock. It is impossible to extract the many small ice cubes. Even after leaving them out for 10 minutes in warm air to melt a bit, all you get are 4 or 5 cubes and a puddle of water. Completely useless. One of the worst Amazon purchases I have ever made. This goes into the Horrible Engineering Hall-of-Fame. I have a hard time believe that the person who designed this product ever thought about how it would be used or work. It doesn't. A five-year-old could design a better product.

I've learned it's best to just dump into a gallon freezer bag or ...
I was expecting these to be silicone, my error, I didn't read the description well. I got them with the intention to be able to fit ice cubes in water bottles and for a faster blend in smoothies. With water bottles, have to add a lot because they melt fast.In smoothies have to add at the end because they melt fast. When pulling from the freezer need to leave them out for 1-2 minutes before getting them out of the tray to allow a slight melt to make it easier to remove. I've learned it's best to just dump into a gallon freezer bag or ice tray, or you spend all day getting one at a time or making a big mess. It's not so much the product but the concept of tiny ice cubes that doesn't work so well.

Like them for my Dog's Water bowls AND he loves them as no calorie treats. Good for dogs on a diet
Have used these for over a year now. They're really nice to use as they seem make fluids cooler a lot faster. Since they're small, they don't end up diluting soft drinks as fast as the larger ones. I don't understand the science enough, I just know how they work. Also I put them in my dog's water bowels 4-5 times a day...since that's how often I must change it; he usually has grass, dirt & who knows what, on his tongue. At the end of the day, he loves chewing these tiny cubes as a nice no calorie treat.

Awesome!
The absolute best! Made well quality product. Just under two trays will fill your YETI cup and ICE will hold forever. If you want to eat the ice, remove the lid and the cubs are the perfect size. You will be buying more and more of these..

Hard to get the ice out
It’s a pain in the butt to get the ice to come out of this tray it’s way to hard to try and crack them out like normal trays

Beaux cubes mais très difficiles à extraire... PAS en silicone
Permet de faire de beaux petits cubes, mais ils sont très difficiles à extraire parce que le moule est en plastique et PAS en silicone. À refaire, j'en achèterais un en silicone.
