It's a #3 I don't use yarn bigger than a number 3 I make baby blankets and donate them. My personal opinion any yarn bigger than a #3 I feel like it makes the blankets to heavy. For a child or older person yarn bigger than a #3 would probably be ok Have a blessed day.
