good quality
these work perfect. I had some 34-in stationary wood stands that weren't high enough for our new sectional and these adjust all the way up to 45 in did the trick they are perfect.they're very easy to put together only took me about 10 minutes for both of them. I would make sure you have the speaker how you want it before you put the double stick tape they supply on the platform though cuz it's very hard to get the speaker off once it is stuck to the double stick tape.my Polk audio bookshelves are 11 in wide and they fit no problem. I believe they fit up to 14 in width.

Took a chance on this one, but it worked out well.
So I had to take a chance on this one, due to a lot of vague information. I assume that, in order to be "universal" it had to be vague. For example, saying that this stand "adapts to your speakers" isn't really true. The only adapting it does is in the adjustment of the width of the base plate. So, yes, if your speakers aren't squared on the edges or base (like mine) you may have some challenges to overcome.Fortunately there are plenty of places to screw through the base plate and into your speaker in order to stabilize it. Which is what I did (up through the bottom). Don't be so precious about your bookshelf speakers; a little screw isn't going to hurt them or the sound they produce. Stand assembly was quick and they feel very sturdy and secure. My JBL Arena B15 speakers are about 8 1/2" lbs. And they measure 7 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 15 inches tall. There is a slight taper from the front to the back (that's where the base bracket has trouble fitting, and why I needed the screw).I was worried that the speakers would be top-heavy with this stand, as I was getting close to the higher end of what this stand says it can handle. But that's not the case at all. These are very sturdy. And I'm on thick carpet with a pad underneath. I was worried that using a stand would be dangerous, with my two toddlers crashing around the house. But these feel very safe. I can tip them back and forth quite a bit and they don't fall.Feeding the speaker wires through the center of the stand was easy as well. I didn't want the stand to be very tall since my speakers themselves are already tall, so I didn't use the bottom portion of the pipe assembly. They don't mention this, but you can have your stand be lower this way. Now my stand adjusts from about 20"-35" tall, instead of 31"-46". If I ever want them to be higher I can put the bottom pipe back in.It was a good purchase. If I had to guess, I would say that their estimate of 11lbs per speaker is accurrate. My 8-1/2lb speakers feel great but I wouldn't go much heavier. And my size (7"x5"x15") is about at the top end as well. If your speakers are much bigger (they're probably not "bookshelf" anyway) move up to the next size.

Easy assembly
They are sturdy and were easy to assemble, but one of the holes in one base was too small for any of the feet to fit, so we had to leave it out. So one stand is tippy. The other stand is perfect with all 4 feet.

Good fit
Excellent product. Adjustable for many speakers and sturdy

Wobbly
While they hold my speakers up, there’s a lot of wobble to them. Like my speakers are literally close to falling. Great idea, poor execution. Sorry manufacturer.

Decent design but bad quality assurance
I bought these based on the overall 4+ star review rating. With that average from nearly 7,000 reviews, my experience might not be typical. It’s possible I received a defective set. But after my experience with them, there’s no way I’d get another set.Problems:Feet for bottom of stand. The feet were WAY too tight to screw in; had to use pliers to install them. Not sure why the feet needed to be threaded at all since they are also secured by an acorn nut.Feeding speaker wire. I followed the directions and adjusted the length of the upper pole section and then threaded on the lower section. The directions show to feed the wire from the top down. I tried several times. No luck. Finally separated the sections and tried that. Nope; the wire kept getting blocked by the upper pole. I collapsed the upper pole and was finally able to get the wire routed from the bottom up.Attaching speaker bracket to stand. The bolt to attach the speaker bracket would not thread into the pole. I tried both of the supplied bolts and neither worked. Then I did a word search for “thread” in the reviews and found others with the same problem. By this time I was frustrated and wanted to pack everything up and send it back. But I went to my stock of nuts and bolts hoping to find a metric (probably) bolt to fit. The directions do a good job of naming the parts, but they don’t say what size the bolts are. I had no luck finding a bolt that worked. Since I couldn’t secure the speaker bracket to the upper pole, the stand itself was useless. I decided to pack it all up and send it back.
