Edit - Upgrading to 5 star due to great service response by Resonate, and since now I have used the device for some days. On writing to Resonate about the problem, they contacted me and sent a replacement device - on testing with new product, I realized the original output cable was defective (UPS to router). This is a wonderful product, specially for places where power oscillates between Utility and backup multiple times during the day. Each time I used to face a break in wifi with a minute or two to reconnect, which is very annoying. So works great for me with no more breaks in wifi. I cannot comment on longevity of backup (need only for couple of mins each time till backup kicks in) or the device (have used it less than a week), but it is simple to install and use; and if you can't get it to work, the folks at Resonate are willing to help out. ---- My older review is below --- Did not work with my DLink DSL2750U, though it is written on product specs in Amazon. Joined all wires as per instructions, switched on the ups, but router lights won't turn on - no matter whether mains is on or not. Some other reviews seemed to suggest it works with DSL2750U, so had bought it based on that, but not sure now. I guess people have to try it themselves and see if it works for them... kind of hit and trial. Have tried to contact Resonate on the mail id they have mentioned in other reviews thinking they might respond, but still waiting for a response. I guess the ability to return the product does take away the risk out of the transaction... but disappointed all the same as I needed this kind of product due to the poor electricity situation, that causes wifi signal out multiple times a day whenever power switches to backup.
