It is an exact fit to replace the worn gears. If you don't know what you're doing you will have a mess on your hands with the limits and get the chain trolley jammed.

Perfect replacement
Perfect OEM replacement gear and clip. Work well. Be aware the if the main drive gear (the one the chain or belt is attached to) is bent, this gear will not work. I recommend running the unit with the cover removed, to see if there is any wobble in the primary gear. It so, that should be replaced as well along with the limit switch.
