Good, however be careful......... these balls travel fast,,,,,,,,,
Good, however be careful......... have an instructor, pro server, or coach by your side for the first day. I had some bad muscle memory that is known as a leak that includes a slight wrist twist on take back. Not quite as bad as a waiters tray serve, but far from perfect. Now on the product. This contraption can be somewhat dangerous with its three balls headed straight to your face at times. Balls to your face is never really a good thing, just ask Paris Hilton. I almost quit in the first couple of minutes. However, I had a great server to help me. Yes, I know there is a grainy video that looks like it's from the 70's available, but an actual real person in real time helps immensely, not to mention saving your face, and other notable body parts from damage. I divided the lesson into three sections as recommended, and had it down in about 20 minutes to my surprise. If you saw me at first you would have said that I would never get it. It is helping my serve. If you can't do it, then you aren't serving correctly, so I was motivated by that alone. It's an eye opener. You might be surprised to know that nearly everyone on city, or school courts has a bad serve and waiter trays, or some sort of glitch. Yes, nearly everyone sucks. Only about five percent actually serve correctly. They think they are serving great, however they are not even close. They end up practicing a bad serve over, and over again until it's ingrained in their muscle memory, and they end up in real trouble. I see it all the time. They would be much better off not practicing at all. Perfect practice, makes perfect.

Very useful tool!
This is my second attempt to write a review for this product. The first time I tried to review it my review was surprisingly rejected. Maybe because I was trying to add a link to a video on how to use it properly. The product itself is very good but it has to be appropriately used so you don't smack yourself with it and injure yourself in the process. I have found it to really help my serve as it helps to loosen up the shoulder and get into a proper trophy position. I will probably go ahead and order the one with the 3 balls (the heavier product) as well now that I'm used to the lighter version. I would recommend you do a search on your own to view a demonstration on how it should be used. In the future I am going to refrain from providing any kind of reviews of products I buy on Amazon.

Excellent Practice Device
I have an injury to my right shoulder and I use this almost every day as an augmentation to actual serve practice in developing a left-handed serve while simultaneously rehabilitating my right-handed serve. It's a super way to develop, strengthen and maintain proper serve motion.

Nice tool, not absolutely necessary
Nice tool, good for simulating most of the serve movements. However, since serves often involve a toss forward, leap forward movements, its not really possible to copy the movement in the Youtube videos offered by the designer of the product and do those more common/realistic serve movements. Another critique is that the videos were not very well made; the movements are a little complicated for a beginner and require a more step by step break down. However, still worthwhile as an addition to a daily training routine.

Amazing
It’s so simple yet brilliant. The reason I didn’t give it more stars in ‘value for money’ is because you can literally make your own with old tennis balls and rope or old socks. It is of higher quality than the homemade versions but the principal is the same. Teaches mechanics of the tennis serve in an intuitive way. Helps build proper muscle memory. Will show you what is wrong with your serve mechanics through natural movements of gravity & force without requiring any higher level learning skills.

Helps you know what your swing or serve should FEEL like.
This is one of the products that you either get or you don't. For me, being able to feel where acceleration is occurring helped me to finally get when and where my power should be initiated - even in my forehand. Lisa Dodson, the inventor, said in one of the training videos that the racquet pronates, and not the player. I cannot tell you how profound that single statement was in erasing all of the other "methods" I had attempted to follow prior. I chose to also purchase her training videos and they are short but to the point. I recommend them as well. I purchased the two ball ServeMaster over the three ball version as it seemed to be easier to manage will trying to perfect the swing movement. The price may seem high, but the trainer is made well and looks to have had a lot of thought put into the design. I highly recommend this trainer as it was designed by someone who seems to get the physics of the serve.

Get back to that baseline!
Disclaimer: I spent years working with a teaching pro when I was in HS and college. I recently picked tennis back up after a few years off. I was previously a strong 4.5. After returning, I started getting some horrendous shoulder pain on my serve. I thought it was due to my advancing age and I would have to stop playing. I saw this and figured it would at least strengthen my shoulder, I had already been doing rotator cuff exercises. I also thought it was stupid to pay that much for a piece of rubber but would do anything to get back into tennis. I watched the tutorial on how to use this gem and practiced for a few days. Although I already had a pretty clean serving motion, this forced me to take ALL of the tension out of my arm and BOOM.. shoulder pain gone! Also my serve has NEVER been more consistent. My last time out, in 2 hours of singles play I only double faulted twice and blame the last one on pure exhaustion. I cannot recommend this enough. It has fixed my shoulder pain and made my serve A LOT better.

Absolutamente genial!!
