Best mousse I’ve used. It gives my hair great volume without making it feel sticky or crunchy, plus it smells amazing

I have loosely wavy hair (1c/2a). My hair is medium-fine strands as well as density. I’m not sure of my porosity but I think it’s medium-high. This is my favorite curly/wavy hair styler I’ve tried!! It makes my waves come alive and doesn’t feel sticky at all if I don’t use too much. Very easy application experience as well, and I like that the smell isn’t overpowering. The most unexpected effect of this mousse is how shiny and soft it makes my hair! Other products I’ve tried have made it sticky heavy and dull but this stuff must really have some nourishing ingredients. Here’s how I use it: first, wash and condition. I squeeze water out of my hair with my hands, spray it all-over with my leave-in, detangle with a wide comb, and use a t-shirt to squeeze even more water out. Then I gently distribute 1.5-2 pumps of this mousse all throughout my hair with my fingers and palms. Then I get about 1 more pump and start scrunching my waves. (my hair comes to the top of my shoulders. I used a little more mousse when my hair was longer)

I loved several things: pump foam not aerosol. A non-crunchy decent not fabulous curl & I used plenty. So I'll use this even though I've had creams that did better on curls, like the OLD formula Noodle Head. It didn't moisturize at ALL, although I wouldn't expect a mousse to. But it didn't dry either & thats important in a mousse. It also didn't make my hair feel sticky or dirty afterward & I used it on the roots, as directed. I used their whole flaxseed line on 62 yr old dryish long curly hair with some frizz, brown hair with blond bleached streaks on the ends. The curls look decent not fantastic bec of this, my head is very clean feeling & smells good but still the same mild frizz as usual & still dryish, my norm. I think it needs more flaxseed or something like it. This mousse from a pump bottle was one of the better mousses I've tried as I look for frizz free curly volume in air dried hair. It was very controllable due to its delivery system.

I really liked this mousse. It gives a flexible hold without making my hair feel stiff or sticky, and it smells great with the light coconut scent. It holds my style while still allowing movement, which is exactly what I was looking for. I’m disappointed to see it’s unavailable now because it worked really well for me. Hopefully it comes back soon!

Sticky to hands

This is my first experience with this particular foam mousse. I have hair that gets weighed down very easily with any heavy product so the heavier mousses don't work well for me. I ordered this one because I recently purchased their lightweight hibiscus hydrating shampoo and conditioner and really like them. This foam mousse had so many rave reviews that I had to try it. Seems it's been out of stock everywhere for a very long time. I'm happy to say it was worth the wait. I really, really like it. It seems to really bring out my natural wave pattern and I've even noticed a few large spiral curls that weren't obvious before. It's a large bottle at a reasonable price. I'm so glad I went ahead and ordered 2 right off the bat.

I have been using this for a bit and I really love the way it looks while also making my hair feel so healthy! But my 3 year old daughter; whose hair is curlier than mine, but usually looks very messy and frizzy because she doesn’t usually let me put product in it and loves to roll around and do flips and whatnot, as toddlers do 😂; let me use this on her hair a few days ago and the results were STUNNING!!! I am very picky about the ingredients in products I use on myself, and even moreso with my baby, but I felt so confident about using this in her hair and I was shocked with how gorgeous it looked! She kept going back to the mirror and smiling 😍🥰 This is the most defined we’ve ever gotten her curls! It is so light weight and comfortable that my daughter didn’t notice it at all, and her waves lasted all day, even after her nap (although they were obviously a little more messy after a few hours of sleep lol)! I’ve loved this for myself for months but I’m absolutely stunned at how gorgeous it is on wavier hair than mine! If you’re looking for a good clean mousse this is the one!

Love this. It can give you the crunchy curl or you can brush it out and have a beautiful controlled wave. I use it also for my toddler when I style their hair it hold well through the time I need while staying relaxed enough that they don’t pull at it. Their hair remains soft and moveable without feeling stiff or heavy from the product. The smell is nice and the pump give you plenty of soft foam to work with your hair. Once it begins to dry it can become quite sticky. But once it fully dries it is no longer sticky.

Después de probar muchos productos pesados, que me dejaban el pelo graso, me recomendaron este. Ideal para gente con pelo ondulado, mi pelo ya no parece sucio, al contrario, brilla y se arman bien las ondas, no se arma cast.

Its quite nice and doesnt leave a weird texture on my hair.

Love how it kept its promise, of maintaining curls for dry hair and say it off @nikkinelms IG. Unfortunately as shown in the pic, packaging didn’t travel well and half the bottle got lieaked while in transit. Can I suggest the brand taping the pink boxed area to prevent any leakage during delivery?

This is my second bottle of this mousse, creates a perfect cast on wet hair that helps you create the perfect curls when dried that keep my curls looking nice for a couple days. I have loose curls and thin, low porosity hair, and this is the perfect heaviness for me! Also smells great.
