Very Pleased
I was looking at replace for my 30 years old bed slats - that when new- were sketchy. Found these on Amazon and are very pleased with the sturdiness, weight and finish. Very straight forward assembly with some small about of drilling required on the bed rails. All tools necessary to assemble are provided (except drill and drill bit). All in all, took me about an hour - which included removing queen size bedding, mattress & box springs. Would buy again if needed.

Easy install, sturdy+stable, quality parts.
I had old wooden slats holding a box spring that were bending and causing my mattress to sag in the middle. I replaced the box spring (20+ years old) and the beams with these "no sag" slats and the difference is noticeable both visually and physically while laying on my mattress. The middle footings are a crucial piece of the no sag structure and was something that I was missing before. The hardware for this product was quality and not cheap/flimsy. The slats themselves are metal and heavy duty and were extremely easy to install. The only change I had to make was that I was installing this on metal rails, not wooden rails, so I used self-tapping metal screws to secure the slats to the rails. This product includes wood screws. I can report back that this product does work with metal rails! If your mattress is sagging you might not always need a new box spring, it all comes down to the support system and this system is great! One side note, I've seen some negative review on this product because people are putting a mattress right on top of it with no box spring/platform. You cannot put a mattress directly on slats, that's not how it works. You always need a platform or box spring first and the mattress goes on top. Great product, I am thinking about replacing all my old slats with more of these!

Very well pleased!
The seller of these rails is AMAZING!!! I had questions and concerns, emailed them and was contacted back almost immediately. I eventually gave them a call and the person who answered the phone knew exactly who I was and was most pleasant. Shipping speed was amazing, the rails are heavy duty and I am extremely happy with this purchase. I’m using these rails on a king frame and a Sleep Number System on top. These work very well for my needs.

Easy adjustments and assembly, solid support.
Other reviews made me wary (confusing instructions, stripped threads on screws). While there is little or no narrative in the instructions, either the manufacturer has improved the product or I got lucky. The wood screws fit into the holes with plenty of clearance and the drawings on the instructions make it intuitively obvious how the frame assembles. Although I had the tools required to put it together, I pretty much used what came in the package (Allyn driver and open-end wrench). I did not use the Phillips driver since a power drill was much faster. If I didn't own the electric drill I would have attempted a large Phillips screwdriver instead of the driver on the end of the Allyn wrench. That would have taken forever to sink the wood screws a half-rotation at a time.Other than that minor detail, I thought assembling this product was pretty easy and the adjustments worked quite well. I'm sure it will last longer than I will.

Some assembly required.
Decided to move my fullsize old Italian iron bed to a smaller second bedroom. Had to take it apart to do that. Could not get it back together to my liking. Several bolts in the metal side rails would not line up properly with the headboard and footboard. Discovered the movers from 8 years ago couldn't reassembly it properly either. Everthing was off by 1/4 inch. The bed is a 30 yr old reproduction from Ethan Allen. Must have got a second or qc was mia back then. Bought this set of slats to try to improve support. This set was designed for wood beds. However, I thought it might work and it was the only set I could find that was adjustable down to less than 6 inches. The side rails are about 6 - 6.5 inches from the floor. It's a very nice set. It took a couple of days to install. First I have to trim about 1/4 of inch off the larger square steel tube. I used a hacksaw and some cutting oil. Hmm, Amazon won't be taking this one back. The holes for attaching to the side rails did not line up. Used a drill with cutting oil to make new holes in the side rails. After that it was easy peasy to assembly and lock down.Bought new bolts and keper nuts. Everything is now square and locked down tight on the bed frame. Next I will buy a new mattress set and a new quilted bedspread. Good as new.

Sturdy support for a wooden slatted bed frame
I was unhappy with the wooden slats on my bed and didn't feel they supported me and the mattress. My back hurts when I sleep due to the mattress sagging and the bed creaking any time someone moves (including my small 3 year old). I added these bars and can already tell the difference, no creaking upon getting into the bed or when rolling from one side or the other. There is a noticeable firmness as if my bed was back on a box spring vs a few feet off the floor. My only suggestion is to allow purchase of extra legs or even additional bars if we want 4 vs 3. My bed is pretty high up on the floor and I had to borrow legs from the 3rd bar to help support the first 2 and I am looking to buy extra pieces for the 3rd.Updating that I contacted the company and they mailed me some extra leg extenders. Amazing customer support! The rails are still going strong and I have absolutely no complaints!

I would recommend this product to anyone
We had purchased a new mattress & box spring for our Queen bed and after about a week I checked to see if there was enough support. One of the support slats was bowed and the other two were slightly bowed. In order not to invalidate the warranty I researched what was available and I settled on these mattress slats. I would recommend this product to anyone. Solidly built and easy to install. The only thing I added to the complete setup was a 10"Lx4"Wx1/2" board under each middle support leg to help distribute the weight over the carpet. Even the delivery people were impressed with the setup and the quality of the product. They are worth the money.
