Excellent orthopedic/support shoe.
These shoes are not slippers. If you're looking for fluffy slipper type scuffs then keep looking. However, these are excellent orthopedic shoes. They have great arch support for flat feet, they are not too warm. They are true to size. I have back issues and had been wearing flip-flops around the house for months. I was always in pain and even started getting gout. After I put these on my back pain decreased significantly. I don't think you can overstate how important good shoes are. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a good support shoe. They are decent enough to wear out as well.

Meant for fat feet only
On the positive side, the shoe bed provides excellent support. Unfortunately, as with the other two brands of orthotic supportive slippers I have tried, these are made only for people with extremely wide feet. Slender feet are also subject to foot issues, but for some reason, shoe makers only care about assisting people with wide feet. These are hazardous because they are so loose. I wear extra thick socks to help, but I shouldn’t have to. Even slippers with Velcro adjustment remain too wide.

No heel support
I just got these today, wore then for about 10 minutes. These slippers looked to be well made, big toe room, for a slipper have good arch, came on time and in a nice zip bag. But it has hardly heel support and I felt like I was wearing flip flops! With the arch support it should have had better heel support. My mule shoes have better. These are not worth the money. Oh!! They charged $7.67 or more (depends how you return them) return fee that'll be deducted from my refund!! So make sure you really want them for $42!! Not happy because the description says they are good for planter faciaitis. They are not at all!,

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE!!!
Best slippers ever!!!! This summer I started wearing my flip flops around my house because they have arch support and that helps my feet and back. Now that it was winter I wanted something warm like slippers to wear but didn't think a slipper with arch support existed until I found these! I read a lot of reviews and they all seemed to say the same thing that it took a bit to break them in but after that they were comfortable and supportive even for people with foot problems. I've never spent this much on slippers and was hesitant but decided to go ahead based on the reviews. I couldn't be happier!!!I think they are nice looking, the arch support is great, the sole is not too thin or thick...I really just love everything about them! One thing to note...the women's sizing listed is off. It looks like they are a unisex slipper but based off of a mens sizing chart and the conversion wasn't done right for women. I went off the size I wear in mens and they fit perfectly! I wear a women's 9.5/10 and have average width feet. I ordered a size mens 8 and they fit perfect everywhere. Like in many clog style slippers there is a little lip in the back which I hate rubbing on my heel. Following the men's sizing the slippers I purchased have room so this doesn't happen.I like them enough that I may get my husband a pair for christmas and will probably buy them again whenever this pair wears out for myself!

I think I'll keep 'em!
I broke my ankle a few years ago and now have plantar fasciitis. I always walked barefoot or with just socks in my house and was warned that w plantar fasciitis, I shouldn't walk without shoes. I didn't believe that until I started getting up from the couch and hobbling around in pain, sometimes unable to step down on my heel at all. I've had to start wearing my outside shoes in and around the house and hate it. So though I grumbled about the price, I'm happy with these slippers. They are comfortable, roomy and have nice arch support. I agree w others' comments... they are roomy so skinny foot might feel they are too floppy. Also, first day wearing them I thought the arch on one slipper (the broken ankle one) was made wrong but I think my foot just wasn't used to being pushed into an arch. After about 20 minutes, I was comfortable in them. They feel like shoes so if they weren't my (nice clean house slippers), I wld wear them out to do errands, etc.
