Astral Face & Body Intensive Moisturiser Cream with Cocoa Butter 200ml

I love this cream but unfortunately they gave me one that will be out of date in just a few weeks. I'm very disappointed as I'm not going to use a 200ml tub in just 2 weeks as it's only me that uses it.

I've used "classic" Astral cream for many years, I find it really hydrating and good value.I placed an order for Astral Cocoa butter cream and applied it liberally to my body as it's cocoa odour is a bit much for my face; I really wish that I hadn't. It caused my eczema to break out. I've reverted to the "classic" Astral cream, which is good for eczema.

Astral Face & Body Moisturiser with Cocoa Butter 200mlHelps stop my middle-aged legs becoming itchy after long bathsAstral is a brand that's been around for decades, and it seems it has branched out into new products from the original moisturiser. This moisturiser is lovely, the same as the original product I'm familiar with but with a touch of cocoa butter and aroma. The ingredients are good. The two main ingredients (after water) are liquid paraffin and glycerin, an excellent combination of moisturisers.I use the cream primarily on my calves after a bath or shower: as a middle-aged woman, I find that if I do not moisturise after bathing, my skin becomes very itchy. Using this moisturiser prevents that.One niggle is that it is a heavy cream so I would not use it on my face - the one exception being if I don't have eye make-up remover to hand I can use this instead (as with any moisturiser).For sale at the time of writing this review at £4.69.
