Does this model have 8 jumpers?

No, the 8 jumpers are no longer made. Any of our buttons are able to work with any of our chimes.

How do i set the dipswitches on my tr-6505-rx so that this pushbutton will activate it?

Just call the customer service number in the instructions. They answer the phone and solve any issues you may have. They are great.

How does a person program the replacement push button doorbell to the chime

The set I have has cylindrical batteries, the one I got, although it looks same on outside has button top batteries. JUST be sure what you are getting. The directions tell you how to add plugs and remove to coordinate the sound. Good Luck.
