But it was worrisome. I have taken 100 mg doses of thiamine two times a day previously and often taken Alpha lipoid acid from 200-600 mg a day as separate products and never had this happen. This is my first experience with benfotiamine. Am wondering if anyone else has had this happen. And whether the product is extracted from a source that happens to have unreported niacin in it.
