Again a dexter product took really long to deliver but amazing

This knife is great for med-large oysters with sizeable gaps in their hinge. The stout blade gives plenty of leverage to pry open the shell and the blade is the best that I have found for neatly cutting the adductor muscle from both the top and bottom of the shell. I have found it less suitable for smaller oysters as the large blade can fracture the top shell at the hinge. It has a comfortable handle which doesn't feel slippery when wet. If you shuck lots of oysters, this should be in your quiver.

The Dexter oyster knife has been a game-changer for me. It’s solid, sharp where it needs to be, and the handle gives me a really secure grip, even when things get slippery. I’ve used other oyster knives before, but this one feels safer and more efficient—the blade has just the right amount of stiffness to pry shells open without bending.
