what is the diameter of the hose?

I believe it is the standard 3 inch. I have found that even all RV sewer hose is the same diameter, connecting different manufacturers products may have small leaks at the fittings.

Is this okay to use with hot liquid ?

Yes. We take hot showers and it runs through this hose to the sewer.
