I’ve always used the eyes pad that have to be microwaved, this however was really effective and simple to use, throughly recommended for those with dry eyes

This heated eye mask is amazing! The effectness and the quality is superb! I have dry eye syndrome like many and have tried many eye drops over the years and many have not been worth the dollars. And when I read about stimulating the oil glands by putting heat on the eye area can help, I thought it's got to be worth a try. So glad I did, plus it is relaxing and comforting. I personally would recommend them from my experience!

What I received is defective out of box: 1. The wire shield was not secured or pulled out already, and the wires are about to break very soon. 2. The out side of the mask is hot. I believe the heat-pad inside was inserted in the wrong direction, but I didn't bother to correct it as I am going to return this one. Seems to me this one was returned by a previous customer, and then restocked without any checking. One more piece of info for buyers: the timer button only goes up from 10 minutes to 30 minutes (?) but stays at the maximum time and won't cycle down. If you want to reduce the time, you have to turn it off and turn it on again to start from 10 minutes. To be fair, except all the above defects/issues, the product is well made, and I kind of like it. I guess maybe I'm just unlucky and received a returned/restocked item, so I am going to place a new order with this vendor and hopefully I am going to receive a good one. (I'll update here if the 2nd one happens to defective again.) -------- --------- ------- -------- UPDATE on Oct. 22nd, 2024 I returned the 1st one and bought a new one. The 2nd one works so well that I have just updated my previous rating of the product. Just to correct one thing I got it wrong in my previous review: The wire does come out of the mask from the face side. It doesn't bother me at all. Now I am using it twice a day and help me a lot with my dry eyes :) -------- ---------- ----------- Update / Nov. 4th. Didn't expect it could help me so much and so fast! I was not able to have contact lens on more than 6 hours per day because of my eye dryness issue. With help of this heat eye mask for 2 weeks only, I don't have problem to have contact lens on for 12 hours a day :) Just bought another one for my daughter. She is doing her university and does a lot reading on computer. I hope it will also help her.

I replaced my previous model with this new version as it has a 10 minute timer and my old one wasn’t working consistently (but had lots of use and lasted pretty well). It’s basic but good value for the price. Be aware that it doesn’t have the plug shown in photos but a much bigger/chunkier one, which isn’t great for travel unless you switch it out for a different one. It also doesn’t get particularly hot even on max heat , but that may be a safety feature - I often need at least 20 mins to feel a difference as it takes a few minutes to heat up. Still a good purchase though.
