Barron's Math Workbook for the NEW SAT

This book is great! Especially if you want to study and learn topics from scratch, get this book. It explains each topic in 6-8 pages and has example questions. After each topic, there is a test, around 15-20 questions. Each question has a detailed explanation at the end. Usually questions are harder than SAT and official practice tests. I'd recommend this if you want to study and learn the topics.Also Kaplan's book is good. I used that after finishing this book. That book is ideal to practice since it briefly summarizes the topics and gives practice tests of 20 questions.

I am a math tutor. This is the best workbook I have found for preparing my students for the SAT math.I love the review sections, the tips, the explanations for answers, and the two tests at the end of the book.

It’s a good book lots of examples, lots of problems covers just about everything you really NEED to know for your SAT, my only real complaint is just in the practice problems when it’s showing you how to solve it doesn’t explain why the book did what it does it will just say (add 10 to each side) like where did 10 come from, do I add 10 on all questions like this or what. Great book just wish it had more explanation when trying to teach yourself a problem you don’t know how to do. Also wish it would explain how it came up with some of the quiz answers rather than just an answer key, if I got it wrong & I can’t figure out why it’s wrong would be helpful for a little explanation. All in all one of the better SAT math books I’ve used

THis is the perfect book for my granddaughter in preparing her for her SATs. Book arrived timely and was exactly as described.

Bought this for my niece to prep for her SAT test. I think having this Math study guide was a real help to her. I would recommend this book.

Even without doing 100% of the exercises, I was able to comfortably pull a 800 on the test, finishing the math sections in approximately half of the time.

This edition provides great tools to prep anyone for the test!

Best SAT practice book I own, and I have a lot of them. Very good practice when Khan Academy is not enough and good conceptual tips.
