Collins KS3 History All-in-One Complete Revision and Practice: Ideal for Years 7, 8 and 9

I bought this for my son who’s in Year 8, and it’s been quite useful so far. The layout is clear and the summaries really help before exams. He said some chapters are a bit too full of info, but overall it makes history easier to understand. The practice questions at the end of each topic are great for checking what he actually knows. Would be nice if there were more pictures or color to keep it a bit more engaging, but still, really good value for the price. Would recommend for parents or students who want a complete revision book that actually helps you remember stuff.

Great book for a bite-size, and therefore manageable, chronological whizz through history! My 11 year old loves its layout: bullet-point information, illustrations and a quick quiz on each double page - topic done! Further on there are longer questions if that's what you need, and there are plenty of other resources online etc. if you want to expand on a particular topic. Recommend for HE.

A very nice book. Has short chapters and is written well. Me and my son have enjoyed reading this book. The question and answer sections are good. There are quite a few sections for questions and good to repeat, although some sections aren't that benefical. All in all a good all round book and would recommend.

Lovely book, lovely pictures which make easy to read and not boring. My son likes it so I’m more than happy with this book.
