I’d definitely try drawing on it with whatever you want to use but then try it on a test piece of fabric to make sure the ink/pencil/whatever doesn’t transfer onto it. The printer ink was never a problem so I wouldn’t think hand drawn lines wouldn’t either. But test it. **Q: I have a 5x7 embroidery, will my design I purschure fix up the fill sheet. or how do I get this to work in my software.? Thank you** A: It depends on the size of your design. As long as the design fits in your 5x7, it will fit on the 8x12 paper. You will need to print your design on this paper. Open your design in your embroidery design software and select print. Be sure to select print ACTUAL of 100%. The paper is sticky and find that when I remove it, it will pull the pile off of towel, minkie, felt etc. Works best on cotton, linen, etc. **Q: Can you use this for wood burning?** A: i doubt it, it would burn **Q: one side is slick and the other paper feeling, what side to I print on? thinking paper side, but that doesn't look very translucent.** A: The paper is not meant to be translucent but that’s what you print on. The shiny side gets peeled off so the sticky side of the paper sticks to the fabric. You’ll probably need to cut both layers very close to your printing (registration marks) so you can orient the designs where you want them.
