Sheaffer100 Glossy Black Lacquer Fountain Pen with Gold Tone Appointments and Medium Nib

This is a great pen of good quality, weight and size. I have been writing with it for 2 and 1/2 years and it still looks like new. It should last for a long time...if only I could say the same about the refills- as I have gone through many of them. If they could get the refills to perform better this pen would be perfect.I briefly lent it to a couple of different people for a few seconds but I am never going to do that again as there are theives everywhere.I use it for composing, my diaries and for reviews of books and for writing notes in general.It is a great pen, though I might be tempted to get a real gold or real silver pen eventually.Or while I am at it , why not try a quill?!

Second Sheaffer I have bought, the first was much heavier and at first this didn't feel as premium a pen so initially I was a little disappointed. Should be noted my original pen was almost triple the price. However once I started using it properly it's obviously a quality pen, feels good to use, the blue case colour is impressive to look at and it writes very well. It also comes in a very stylish box so would make a perfect gift. Overall impressed as an everyday writing pen

A good pen nice to write with.

Was extremely surprised by this one - it writes buttery smooth, excellent nib. My friend borrowed it from me and he often uses pens such as the Waterman Hemisphere and he states that he prefers writing with this one. He was very hesitant to return it. Aesthetics are nice however not as nice as some of the alternatives in the price range (Faber-Castell Loom), however that may due to personal preference as I find black barrels a bit plain.

Bought because I prefer ink to biro. Works well.
