Great camera for the price; highly recommended.
Purchased this camera for ice fishing use. I've tried Cabela's cameras, Aqua-Vu and other brands, and this camera is a great alternative, especially for the price. The picture is color (9 inch), and it's the clearest of any camera I've ever used. The carrying case (a mini "suitcase") is also very convenient, takes up very little space compared to other cameras, and will protect the camera during travel either on or off the ice.I've purchased both the 7 inch and 9 inch color versions of this camera and they work great. The only downfall on the 9 inch camera is that the battery did not last quite as long (only about 5 hours). The 7 inch camera battery has performed very well (full day of use; 8-9 hours). We think it may just be a bad battery. The good news is that customer service has been great and is working with us on the battery issue. The other good news is that a battery swap in the middle of the day with this camera is super easy; no bolts, screws, or taking things apart. Just unclip the terminal ends and attach to your backup battery and you are back in business. I'd highly recommend in lieu of other brand names which most likely cost more $$.

Excellent Underwater Camera
This camera captures clear underwater footage day or night, in clear and murky conditions. The camera housing and lens are substernal and tough. The carrying case is durable and the entire kit is extremely portable and the 9" video screen makes watching footage live or in playback mode easy for all. I have used the camera successfully to view fish activity, and to find personal items that were dropped and lost 30' deep at the bottom of the lake. I recommend the longer 50M camera cord. I thought the 30M length would plenty of depth but the camera is good enough to go deeper. without loosing video quality Great product and good purchase for the price. Also, I want to express a sincere thank you to Tina from Eyoyo Customer Service. Tina was responsive to my emails, answering product questions thoroughly, in a timely manner, and even followed up to confirm my satisfaction with the product. Great service! Thanks again.

Product Needs More Development - Do Not Buy
This product feels like it is a lab prototype that escaped into production. Several of the menu options quite literally say “not possible “. The firmware will not even let you set the clock. The information shown on the display is hard to understand. The firmware cannot be updated. It does not show depth. It comes in a nice metal case, but when opened it falls over because the display in the lid is heavier than the rest of the case. The camera cable is on a spool that is tedious to unroll by hand, especially while trying to keep the case from falling over & closing. Rolling the cable back onto the spool again is time consuming.I found it frustrating & decided to return it. Do not buy it!

Wow, what a disappointment.
An insult to the underwater camera category. What a disappointing package. It comes with more stuff than there's spots for and you can only use the camera with the lid open so the angle is fixed and there's no place to store the foam insert or visor.Since the monitor is in the lid the angle of the screen is fixed and the best angle is if you're sitting on the ground/ice with the unit. There's just a bunch of messy wires jammed into the case. I thought I was disappointed in the Aqua-Vu package until I used this abomination. Would not recommend, not even good for a toy since the package to use it is so inconvenient. It's not portable because the monitor has to stay in the case but there's stuff that falls out of the case with the lid open. Overall, this thing is a joke and poor excuse for am underwater camera kit.Everything about it is cheap and poorly designed. From the string/cable loops to the bobber, to case, to the wiring. They could've at least used modern connectors instead of coaxial and an obsolete charging plug. This feels like it was a children's toy from the 90s but even stuff back then had style and function this is lacking.

Good bang for buck
bought this unit because I refuse to pay 300$+ for the big namebrand units. im very impressed with how well it functions for the price. my buddy had just bought a Marcum camera close to 400$ and he admitted he was jealous that mine had a bigger screen, recording feature and picture might have look better. cant turn the IR lights completely off but I just unplug them nbd. the light doesn't seem to bother the fish one bit. my only gripe is the battery life could be just a touch better. but overall its a good unit. I would recommend. also, buy a aqua view tripod or a Marcum camera compass.. I didn't even attempt to use the bobber they supplied in the unit.
