I have bought this same cake locally for much less. But the grocery store I have purchased them from only carries them around Christmas, but doesn't always carry them and did not this year. The store sells them for much less than I paid online, but I splurged and ordered anyway. The cake is very tasty, but not sure if it is worth the price the seller charged and the shipping cost.

We bought this as a gift to a hard to shop for family member who has everything. She loved it. And thought the packaging was great. The box was really cool she said and cake was delicious. Larger than we expected.

I've bought this several times, and it's always been fresh and moist and crumbly and wonderful. The description currently says 10 ounces, and the picture at the top shows the 30-oz box, but in fact this one is 10 inches (not 10 ounces!) and weighs 50 oz. It's packaged well, with plastic around both cake and "bourbon barrel." I've found there's usually a lot of the cake that doesn't have much chocolate. For the pictures I cut one slice from the side showing a lot of chocolate on top, and one slice from the other side, hardly any chocolate. But it doesn't matter: they're both fantastic. If you like bourbon and pound cake and chocolate and walnuts, this can't be beat!

I ordered 8 of these cakes for 8 different people. However, 7 were sent to just one address. No in the company has bothered to contact me to explain this mistake. I heard the cake was particularly delicious.

I ordered this cake from Amazon because the store I went to purchase it from did not get them in and I wanted to have it for the holidays.I had never tasted it; I was only going on word of mouth and reading reviews. Even though it is pricey, everyone who ate it raved about how delicious it was. I found it to be very moist and flavorful….delicious! I will definitely be ordering it again.

This was a gift and the recipient said this cake was amazing!!!! Well worth the money for a gift. The box the cake came in was super cool too. Shipping was good. Customer service is excellent. I would order this again.

I bought one of these and could not believe how good it was. It was worth every penny. It was loaded with a wonderful residual bourbon flavor, plenty of nuts and a delicious topping. When I finished it, I missed the wonderful taste so much I ordered another one. In the meantime the company decided to save money and the cake I received had very little topping and very few nuts. So many companies seem to be ruining their products to save a little money. I would rather pay more for the great cake they had than getting much less for the same price. They could have had me for a life-long customer, but now they have lost me.
