In the sea of products that fail to meet expectations, Steadyracks don’t disappoint. Their wall-mounting is rock solid, and every aspect of the product is built to last. The ability to rotate your bike left and right once hanging in the rack is a huge bonus, as well. I purchased two, one for my adventure bike and one for my fat bike. Each one fits its respective bike perfectly.

I bought a Fat rack and a Classic rack through Amazon Warehouse. One of the racks shipped without the mounting hardware but I had similar bolts on hand and used those. I contacted the manufacturer via their website and they said they would ship out the hardware to me asap.These racks are fantastic. Loading the bikes into the racks is so easy, and it keeps the bikes out of the way. My fatbike is 30# with 3.8 width summer tires and the bike fits securely. I have 4.5 width winter studded tires that the rack would appear to take but I won't know for sure until I switch tires again.Mounting the rack was fairly easy although I did watch a few YouTube videos first. The brace for the rear wheel is obviously too narrow for the tire to sit in, but it does hold the bike steady when you pivot the rack to the side.I am now looking to buy the MTB version. The rack is expensive but if you can get it on sale it helps the emotional damage. Overall it's worth it.Edited 12Jul21 - The 4.5" studded tires do fit - anything larger would not. Still very happy with the purchase

Solid product that stores my fat tire ebikes. Installation was pretty simple and straight forward. It has you place the rear tire against the wall and then have the rack sit on the floor where you mark the hole for the top stud then measure from that point to the wall. Take that measure onto the wall and there you have it. Although you may want to add an inch or two. My ebikes only have 20" tires so it sat exactly on the ground as the tire couldn't sit on the whole swing arm. So I had to reinstall a little higher so the tires weren't touching the ground. My ebikes weight about 73 lbs. so this rack seems to be pretty heavy duty. Only time will tell.A cool feature of this rack is being able to rotate the rack almost 180° to make more room. Really works good and makes more space for my car to fit. I'd recommend this rack if you don't want to hang it from the ceiling but need room in your garage.Only reason for not getting 5 stars, besides cost, is that my ebike has fat tires AND fenders. The fender bike rack won't accommodate fat tires. So I had to undo my fender but the tire still sits on the fender a bit. Doesn't look like it's going to crack, but it would have been ideal if there was a fat tire AND fender option.Overall, I'm really happy about my purchase and the product looks sturdy and will keep my ebikes stored away to make room for my cars.

These racks are great. The engineered lip at the end makes it easier to load and unload a bike. E-bikes are heavy, but the racks hold up without a problem.

Really easy to install and they are very sturdy. My electric fat-tire bikes are 70+lbs each and they are supported very well. Some people are complaining about the fenders getting in the way, but for me that wasn’t an issue. The metal support of the rack went right between the fender and tire and fit perfectly. Love the pivot feature which allows you to basically fold the bikes in against the wall so they don’t protrude out as far. The only complaint is the price, but you get what you pay for.

I just finished mounting this rack to my wall. IMHO this is THE wall mount for a fat tire bike. I have a Kona with 5" wide tires. The bike weighs 35 lb. With this rack it is easy to get the bike in the rack. My suggestion however is to only mount this rack onto a stud. Forget the plastic drywall inserts included in the package. Good quality hardware is provided, just use a stud finder and mount directly to a wooden stud. I used a 3/16" drill bit for the upper bracket mounting pilot holes and a 1/8" drill bit for the 2 lower bracket. Bracket swivels a bit. The "standard" hook type wall mounts are not going to work for my 5" fat tire bike. If you gently squeeze the sides of the plastic bolt covers, the covers come off without breaking as mentioned in another review. This is not mentioned in the instructions. Well made product that works. Here's a photo of my completed installation.

Thanks to the previous reviews I was careful with the plastic trim--both in prying it off to uncover the top and bottom holes, and in replacing it so my plastic housing is fine. The metal parts are overly robust--like they were made for 100 pound bicycles, so comparatively the plastic does seem lightweight--but it is only for dressing up this wonderfully sturdy bike rack. And, yes, it does really swing like a swinging door (you may have to loosen the vertical bolds a bit to get an easy swing). I installed two closer than they are supposed to be installed in my florida room--in a tight spot. I also installed one to hang up from the floor 2" (the way they recommend) and the other higher than they recommend (with the rear wheel touching the floor) so they would nest nicely in just 27" of wall space. One tire is 4" wide and the other 4 1/2" wide and both fit in the "groove" well. I am more than satisfied--very happy, with this product.

Me ha gustado su robustez necesaria para aguantar una bicicleta eléctrica de peso cercano a los 25 kg. Además, el que se pueda girar facilita el acceso a la bicicleta. En cuanto al montaje, lo tuve que poner unos 10-15 cm mas bajo de lo que decían las instrucciones, ya que de hacer caso a las instrucciones me hubiese quedado la bicicleta suspendida en el aire, y lo que quería era que se apoyase en el suelo la rueda trasera.Tuve problemas en la recepción del artículo, según el distribuidor por problemas en la frontera. Cancelé el pedido y pasados unos días lo volví a pedir y me llegó en menos de una semana.

Bought two of these one for my fat bike the other for my wife’s hybrid with has mudguards, and they are well beyond their worth. My Fat bike and my wife’s hybrid bike both fit perfectly Thoroughly pleased with them. Superb build quality and the swivel function is outside the box thinking. Would not hesitate to buy again or recommend them.

The media could not be loaded.  Rack was easy to install directly into a wall stud, so very stable to support my 35 lb. fat bike. Not sure if using plugs into drywall would be as secure, so didn’t want to risk it. The 4.8” fat tires fit nicely into the tray. As long as you are able to get the bike vertical on its rear wheel, operation to load and unload the bike is easy given that you don’t really need to lift the bike off the ground, just roll it onto and off the rack.The swivel feature allowed me to load the bike and then fold it into a tight corner out of the way.All heavy duty metal construction, so I expect it to be durable. The only plastic components are decorative non-functional face covers. Note it is not recommended for outside use as I assume it is not impervious to rusting.Overall, a well thought out design that’s solidly built.
