I bought this game because I thought it would be a new gaming experience. And it is
So... I bought this game because I thought it would be a new gaming experience. And it is.Here is what makes it different, and so great at the same time (PROS)1. Characters are more lifelike in that they get tired of running/killing zombies/etc.2. I actually started caring about characters3. Characters that die in the game do not come back (perma-death). This is great because if my character is running around I will avoid zombies when my energy is low and *hope* to make it home or to a car/etc. This gives you that scared feeling, that feeling that says don't go that way! or don't chance this! because once your character dies that's it for that character. You lost a valuable asset and respawn in somebody else back at camp (as long as you have another controllable character)4. The world stays: What I mean is that if I drop a car off on the other side of the map, it will be in that same spot when I get back. If the car is significantly damaged (or on fire) it will still be like that when I return. It's a little thing but appreciated. Some things that I would like to see improved, but don't ruin the game are:1. On rare occasions a zombie comes through a glitch wall. Ok, it's rare and one zombie coming through is easily dealt with2. People in my crew disappear. I finish a mission and they disappear back to camp. mother F'ers. I could use their help getting back.3. The AI doesn't close doors - Look. If you just ran away from some zombies I don't want to welcome them into my home. Close that door!Overall a great game so far. I would recommend this game to zombie fans, people who like slashing things to death, people who like the idea of building a community and people who want a new game experience.Have fun out there.

A BUGGY & GLICHY GAME
This game is one of the most frustrating games I have ever played you go thru walls and doors, autos flip over just by hitting something. You can't make a strategy in your auto becouse zombies won't let you you can't read your map in your auto yeah becouse zombies won't let you. What is it with stamina running out to fast? Developers said ' it,s like real life in a zombie apocalypse' really? The f-ing people in this game just run a few steps then tired up! The they run slower then the zombies ,in real life people can run fast longer than this, the characters run like they are 70 or 80 years old eating food doesn't help much so you end up dead! And Lilly interrupts you while you are on a mission to much shut the hell up! Reminds me of Dead Rising 1 when you were on that mission to save a survivor then the damn phone rings constantly, with all the bugs and glitches it's not much fun. And they say it's an open world game not really becouse when you are on a mission and say you need a better auto to go up against a juggernaut the mission will be forfeited if you go out of bounds of that mission ,does that sound like an open world to you?I will not buy State of Decay 2 since I read it's buggy to. Please no state of decay 3 until this unprofessional lazy developers perfect this series mass

The Concept Is Awesome Beyond Imagination
This game is awesome. You work to build up your community, kind of like the Walking Dead. Imagine yourself as the leader of a group of survivors, you go around gathering up others, bring them in, and expand your community further. Your community obviously need food and ammo to keep going, and you'll be doing a lot of that as well. The concept is of the game is great. The downfall is its gets boring quickly. You go around, kill some zombies, scavenge... and do it again. After you find a new home base, then it gets boring again. Also, the missions are kind of sporadic, and I never know when they're about to expire. Conclusion is, the game is great. Definitely try it out. I'm looking forward to the second one.

Retro Trip
We’ve been playing SOD2 for a few months and love it. So this SOD Year One is a retro trip back to the start. This game is disc and came new in the original package. Play is in 3rd person. The games graphics are expected for the date it was originally released. Still playing it so it’s a keeper.

The Walking Dead
If your a fan of The Walking Dead, zombies, survival, and building your going to love this game. 1st off being a firearms owner I love that there are multiple guns and calibers in this game. It's not so simple that you find pistol ammo and you are set for all your handguns. No! Each handgun is chambered differently and you need the right caliber for that gun. 22LR,9mm,40. 45, 44 mag, 5.56 and the list goes on. This what makes the game so realistic. There is no down time within the game. You are timed to do certain missions. Main mission will stay there but if you have a friend in need you might want to hurry your ass up or they might die. I also love how you are able to play almost any character just as long as they are in your community and you build enough trust. This game constantly auto saves on every action you make. So if one of your character dies they are gone forever. I am Hooked on this game and will look forward for part 2 . This game will not disappoint you!!
