Unfortunately i have received a usb c to hdmi instead of usb c to DP and i am so unsatisfied with the experience.

Works great for me on ThinkPad T480 w/Linux
I have a ThinkPad T480 and was unable to drive full resolution on my external Ultrawide 3440x1440 display over HDMI, it would only allow 2620x1440 (16:9). With this USB-C to DisplayPort cable, it works perfectly fine, at 75Hz. I tried a different USB-C-to-displayport cable but it would not work on Linux. I can recommend this one!

Great product
Urgently needed a USB C to DisplayPort cable to bypass docking station. I am happy to say that I now have display on both HP laptop and Dell monitor. Good quality, would recommend.
