Products Whole Goat Milk Powder (1 Lb, 152773)

I did a lot of research about this product and after reading that it is natural and without sugar, I went ahead and purchased it. I can say that the smell is normal as any fresh goat milk but once you drink it you will be drinking only chemicals. Both my children vomited it and I felt alot of times to vomit it as it doesn’t digest. I always had goat milk but fresh one and never had an issue but this one is just a product to sell but nothing good for your health.

I love Mt. Capra's Whole Goat Milk Powder, 1 lb because it's a quality product in a size that is useful for daily use. This size canister fits nicely on my counter as part of my coffee station. I also purchase the larger sized (2.5 lbs) tub from iHerb since it’s more economical and I refill the 1 lb canister. I found out about goat milk powder as an alternative to cow's milk several months ago. I had been using plant-based milks as an alternative to cow's milk since I had developed a sensitivity and while I enjoyed (and still enjoy) PB milks, having the alternative of goat milk has been a pleasant surprise. It's creamy and while I found that it has a slight difference in flavor profile to cow's milk and PB milks, it is not off-putting (to me). Mt. Capra recently upgraded their processing equipment (per an email from a company representative) making it dissolve quickly into warm or hot water. I use it in place of a coffee creamer and really enjoy the creamy and very slightly sweet flavor that it adds.

I use this as coffee creamer. I put 2 Tbs into a cup of coffee. It mostly dissolves easily, occasionally there are a few small clumps but nothing too bad. The flavor is what you would expect for goat milk, creamy and just a little bit goaty. Fresh goat milk from a local farmer and used within a few days has the least goaty flavor in my experience, but this powder is quite a bit more convenient and I don't really mind the flavor personally. This tastes about the same to me as the goat milk that is sold in most grocery stores, flavor wise, which is to say that it is a little bit goaty. It is by far the best dry powdered coffee creamer I have tried. If the flavor of this (or store-bought goat milk) is too strong for you, you might consider trying to find a local source for fresh goat milk as the fresher milk will have the most mild flavor.

It’s delicious … but still at par w other leading brands I tried …perhaps a a little bit creamier… not sure I will repurchase given the higher cost but will see if it’s worth it… if they charge more, they need to differentiate themselves with something … Perhaps it mixes better but I don’t have this issue since I use a trick: I mix the powder w tiny bit of water and mix into a runny paste w a fork well before I add the water. Also, can anyone explain to me the claim on the packaging that goat milk is the « most consumed milk in the world » … whereas goat milk is only a very small % of world milk consumption compared to cows… I don’t like erroneous claims cos it makes me question the validity of everything else I read on the packaging . Please correct this!
