Fotodiox Pro Collapsible Background - 5x7’ Chromakey Green/Chromakey Blue 2-in-1 Background Panel

I was really hoping this would work. The ability to store it away in a fairly small package between uses and it's ability to be set up in either portrait or landscape seemed like exactly what I was looking for. It arrived and I was happy with the quality of the materials and how sturdy the stand was, but...when you unfold the screen it's fairly wrinkled which causes issues with the functionality of the green screen. To remedy this, it's recommended that you either steam the wrinkles out or leave it unfolded so as not to create the wrinkles in the first place. Either option unfortunately effectively makes this into a permanent fixture which is not what I was looking for.

I bought this backdrop so that I could be autonomous, not need the help of anybody when doing my setup. That's not the case. It is near to *impossible* to clip it into the mechanism on the stand. They don't quite fit together. I spent 20 minutes trying!!!! I finally had to ask my partner and even he had trouble, and mentioned that it's just not properly made. He managed to do it after 5 minutes! Also the backdrop isn't strait. It bends a bit which affects how my lighting hits it. It's also much much heavier than anticipated. And finally, no matter how many times I watched the YouTube video on how to fold it, it's also near to *impossible* to do. I was really hoping this item would make my work easier, but that's not the case. It does *not* save me time at all, if anything it's the opposite. It ADDS time and ANGST. I was really hoping this would be exactly what I needed. Unfortunately I will be returning it. I did give it 3 stars though because it's good sturdy fabric, and the kit arrived intact.

I've been using it for months now, it works well but it's not the most convenient: often need to be moved to adjust a corner, fixing it to its pole isn't the most fun step, and I wish I could just let it lean against a wall (but it's falling on itself, it can only hang). Overall it works well for me, I just wish I had taken something more sturdy in a similar price range.

Works great just gets a little wrinkled when stored for a bit. Love the thing when it’s setup and in use but if you own a cat it’s a hair and scratch magnet lol. I’ve owned this product for years and it’s more than earned it’s purchase cost over the years. Oh and please watch a YouTube video on how to close it I almost lost my mind trying to figure it out 🤣

The product came as promised but is smaller than I thought. The stand has to be pushed up tight behind you to give full coverage for a virtual background. Also the mechanism for attaching the screen to the holder is unnecessarily difficult - takes two people to attach it. The folding is simple if you watch the video on it first - otherwise good luck.
