Easy to use
Works as expected. Probably better to use flame tamer than not, but it does take longer to brew coffee with it, so plan accordingly. It takes 12-15 minutes to brew espresso (for me) YMMV!

At any price, this style diffuser is the best available. The one on the right is used weekly, and has been for at least 25 years. Yes, it’s no longer shiny - nor should it be. It’s a functional kitchen tool; not something you pose with. You can spend exponentially more money on a diffuser, and it is not going to work as well as this time-proven style that is used over gas or coil electric burner.

It is very useful.
I have had one of these before, heaven knows what happened to it, so bought this one & it works well for simmering & is a useful kitchen tool & folds away neatly.
