Over all just “OK” smell.

It doesn’t work well

So pleasantly surprised by this. As someone who relies heavily on chemical, aerosol deodorant and would stink within 2 hours of my day without it I am now fully converted. Very reluctantly stopped using aerosols some time ago due to chest symptoms, switched to conventional roll ons (hated the feel of the 'wet ones' and got paranoid about the cream ones clogging pores and causing dangerous build ups) and then started researching natural deos. I've worn this daily for around a month now and can say I have never smelt of BO once- it's excellent. The only thing I would say it takes some getting used to- I would usually spray aerosol as a last step and then dash out the door. With this it is a liquid spray so you do need to allow some dry time. If you spray once dried out of the shower and then continue getting ready allowing your armpits to dry then it works wonders. If you immediately dress then you will wipe off product and it won't work as well.

My first natural deodorant at first I was a skeptic! I sprayed 3 sprays on each armpit yesterday morning 5.30am I then drove an hour to an interview, had a 5 HOUR long interview and assessment centre, drove home, had a nap, walked half hour to my exercise class, did an hour exercise class, and walked home! It lasted ALL day! No wetness through the day even though I sweat a lot and I smelt myself (EWW i know) just to check the product before I got in the shower and I didn’t smell! My roommate confirmed! All this plus I know there’s no chemical nastys going in to my body I’m never going back!!!

It’s deodorant but not as we know it. I love the smell, I get it’s for ‘girls’ but I’m menopausal and my skins hormonal and this is lovely on my armpits. Yuk I hate armpits !The idea of eco friendly everything appeals to me, we started trying to cut out aerosols in the 80s then companies seemed to forget, I’m so glad the younger generation has the same values as gen x. I love tjis and have used SotE other stick deodorant in scent less before this, will carry on using as long as I can get it in the U.K.!It works, doesn’t sting and smells fab!Edit , a week after using my armpit developed a sore going acros from one side and my right armpit developed 5 sores that looked like the deo had dried out the skin under my arm, the skin is cracked and flaking and the sore is red and bloody like lots of paper cuts going across my underarms.I’m devastated because this product smells so delicious but it has something too harsh for my armpit skin. Maybe salt is not the ideal product for deodorant.I went back to using my wax and patchouli Lush unpackaged deodorant and a week later the infected areas are completely heeled . I’m so sad because I hoped I could get on with this as it’s half the price of lash’s patchouli deo.

I have always been, in my own mind, quite smelly. This is whilst using conventional deodorant and even swapped to men’s for a more powerful preventative. My clothes would smell and I would feel embarrassed.I switched to this natural deodorant in a bid to use more natural substances on my skin and there has been a real change. I smell less and some days I don’t smell at all. It really is great stuff and I do agree with many other reviews that the smell of the spray itself is lovely and not overpowering.I would recommend anyone to try this, if smelly me can benefit from it I think anyone can.

I really like salt of the earth products.I use the lavender and vanilla roll on often, and tried this for a change.It's quite a small spray bottle, so perfect for popping in a bag, for a weekend away or just a normal work bag for those hot and bothered days. That said, it isn't tiny, and will last quite a while.I was hoping that the scent would be a bit more coconutty, but of course it's quite a subtle scent, presumably because of its natural, skin friendly credentials. And the latter are more important.It's a soft fresh fragrance, if the two can go together?!I find it an effective deodorant, even during power surge (menopause! ) moments. I think i personally prefer the roll on and find that more effective.I like it, and definitely recommend trying.I hope you find this review helpful, thanks for reading.
