This thing looks cool, works well with alternate gases (I am using airsoft black gas in it (probably not a good idea to do this it is a lot more flammable and jets faster)) and I was pleasantly surprised to find this card in the box telling me my product is free and how to get my money returned. The instructions do not include anything related to this review. The review is my honest oppinion of this product. The lighter includes a flame lock so you can release the sparker button and it will continue to expell gas to the flame and a feature where if you turn the flow all the way down it shuts the valve entirely so no gas can be expelled. This is a fine safety feature. PROS: - Great price - 100% windproof - Strong jets - Good Jet angle - Works well with gasses other than lighter butane - Safety features - Easy to adjust - Looks cool - Despite it's size it is very light - Well presented - Seller runs promotional gratitude CONS: - Despite there being ample ventillation at it's operational end, if used for more than around 15 seconds continuously the operational end gets quite warm and takes a good while to cool down.(may be due to my choice of gas though) - I can't stop playing with it, It arrived while I was watching star wars and it is very reminicent of a lightsaber hilt.

The lighter came neatly packaged in a presentation box and the normal Amazon packaging. The lighter comes gasless as described and is easily filled from a butane bottle. The dual flame lights faultlessly and is windproof and works on a slider bar to light, it also has a nifty feature which is a slide bar in the middle which you can push sideways whilst lighting to keep the gas on allowing for safe long reach lighting and simply slide it the other way to shut off the flame again. The lighter is very aesthetically pleasing, comes with a lifetime guarantee and seems very solid and well made and was easy to fill up and use. All in all I would say a great purchase and will recommend to friends. (Note there is not a safety catch to prevent lighting) however due to the slide up operation there should be no way for it to be lit inadvertently in your pocket etc.

Firstly, thank you to the seller "hongmai", who dealt with a packaging issue very well. So 5 stars for them. As for the lighter, it works well, but the battery can't keep up with very heavy use. It would probably last 5 to 10 times longer with usual use, which should be more than enough for most people. It takes a bit more hand eye coordination than other lighters, as the target is quite small, and you have to be within a few millimetres of the arc, but also not crash into it. This gets easier with time. There is a delay from opening the lid, until the touch sensitive button becomes active. This is becoming annoying. You can't turn it off manually, without closing the lid. (It times out after 6 seconds) The button is no longer active after the time out. So you can't leave the lid open, to have faster access. In the long run, I think I would prefer to stick with a jet lighter. It's still a cool little device though. A large table lighter version that activates when you bring something close would be awesome.

It worked (somewhat) for a few weeks, but would always took a few strikes to ignite. It progressively got worse, and now after 4 weeks of use it is banjaxed. It also used an excessive amount of butane gas to get it to ignite, as I had to refill it a plethora of times in the shot time it “Worked”. I should also note, that I have used over a half a can of butane gas in the short time I had this junk lighter. The frustrating thing is that I live in Ireland, and for me to send a cheap and nasty product like this back to amazon for a refund, costs me more money for postage than the item is usually worth, and also more time and effort than it is worth. This is going straight into the garbage bin where it belongs, like 4 other substandard products I have purchased from Amazon in the last month! The Quality control of products sold through the Amazon website has become abysmal. I have bought more cheap and nasty products from amazon in the last month, than I had in the previous 10 years under my previous amazon account, where I wrote product reviews under the user name Fug. I think it is time for me to shop somewhere else, as there are far to many unscrupulous sellers allowed to sell their substandard products through the Amazon website.

This is one of the best lighters I have bought. It lights reliably and with a strong blue windproof flame. We use it for our wood burner, for candles and we look forward to using it for camping. The push button is very easy to operate. My wife has arthritis in her thumbs and finds many lighters hard to operate but this one is no problem. It is easy to refill and the window to show how much gas is left is very clear. It is also a very sleek design. Like all lighters, it refills much more easily and completely if you put it in the freezer for a while first.

I've had 3 of these and they're inconsistent. One I bought a couple years ago and is still working perfectly. I then bought two more a few months ago, one works fine but not as well as the original lighter (it sometimes doesn't ignite the first time) and the other one doesn't work at all! Perhaps they've changed the way they're manufactured, or I just got lucky with the first one. These are not cheap lighters so I wouldn't expect this issue.

I use this with my DynaVap and other rigs, love it. The lock for the flame is helpful and it feels well built overall. Not had any issues using it for the past few weeks, it does guzzle through the gas so keep a can around for refilling, which is easy enough to do with the bottom filling inlet. The window helps to keep a guage on remaining gas and the dial to adjust the flame intensity is great, if a little too easy to turn. Would recommend.

La batteria dura per circa 30 sigarette, per il resto è un buon accendino ed elegante.

Très sympa , tiens +/_ 60 à 70 allumage, néanmoins est vraiment efficace au dessus des 2 premières diodes sur 4 en dessous l'arc est un peu faiblard sinon trés beau fin discret et de bonne conception et charge rapide perso j'ai lâché les briquets à gaz

Muy bueno para su precio!!! Funciona muy bien y tiene capacidad de gas . La única pega es que no tiene tapa y se puede meter polvo en la zona de encendido , el resto perfecto.

Quality is insanely good wish it had usbc tho, now i can destroy my lungs in style!!
