is this compatible with all kinesis split kbs, specifically edge?

I've been using it with Kinesis Freestyle EDGE RGB. It doesn't fit perfectly, but it more or less works. It would be wonderful if they made a specific skin for this one, particularly given that it is now recommended by Wirecutter as the best available Ergonomic keyboard.

are the key notations printed on the silicone cover or is the cover completely blank (see through only)?

The cover is blank. It is slightly translucent and not perfectly clear. It also has raised ridges on the F and J keys for reference for touch typing.

Are the keys programable?

This is only the silicone cover. The Kinesis Freestyle2 not sold with this listing is not programmable.

How far apart can each side be? A few inches or a few feet?

This is the silicone covers only. You can use it on a 9 inch or 20 inch separation model.
