My boy was thrilled to open this on Christmas morning! I don’t know about the small bakugans, but you have to roll this one jusssst right to get it to pop open on its magnetic base...but maybe this is pretty normal? It would be way more fun (imo) if the magnets were stronger..

My son loves it. Great Gift
