I have what I would term "bad feet" (bunions and flat feet, not to mention LARGE) so finding comfortable but stylish shoes that I can wear to work (and afford!) is always a challenge. Clarks has been a go-to for a while. What I love about these shoes is that they are comfortable out of the box, true to size, and very professional. A patent leather finish has come to be my preference for shoes that can dress up or dress down and look good with both slacks and a skirt/dress. This burgundy croc patent leather is just beautiful and the cut of the shoe is kind to my bunions. So many loafers have an uncomfortable seam right at the ball of the foot, or are cut too low, but these are perfect. The uppers are stiff but that that is my preference because with flat feet, shoes that stretch tend to "spread" and quickly look sloppy and unprofessional. I can tell these will look good even as they break in further. I did bend down the back of the heel a few times to loosen it up a bit because I could tell it was a bit too stiff, but once I did that, the fit was perfect. Price is great too!

I bought these good looking shoes to wear while flying, to easily remove for security checks, and pop back on in an instant.They are really simple in design, have a nice little wedge for some height, and plenty of arch support. They are also easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth, and dry without any visible water spots!They are true to size and felt very comfortable from day one.I'll be buying a 2nd pair!

I was pleasantly surprised by my initial try-on of these shoes: comfortable, lightweight, nice-looking. Adding a thin insole in one shoe took care of the half-a-size difference, but with my second trial period (walking inside the house), I noticed that one of my big toes was uncomfortably rubbing where the toe tapered. Funnily, the larger foot did not have that problem, so perhaps it was caused by the addition of the insole. This is an on-going problem for me. I seem to need a wider toe box. In any case, these weren't going to work for me so I returned them. The elastic gore across the top of the foot was comfortable for my low instep. Overall, I was very impressed by the fit & comfort of the shoe, and at the sale price they would have been a super deal.

I am now on my fourth pair of this same shoe. I have a collapsed metatarsal and a very difficult time finding a shoe that doesn’t cause pain and is supportive and comfortable and cleans really well. I wore them all Winter this year even in snow that wasn’t too deep. Just dry and brush them and they look like new again. Absolutely wonderful shoe.

Very comfortable shoe. I have a high arch on top. Fits well. Feels like at May be a tiny bit larger/longer than my regular size 9. I dress business to business casual for work. Some days I do a lot of walking. Very happy.

I read an article written about the best work shoes for women that suffer with plantar fasciitis or foot sprains. This shoes was one of the shoes listed. I sprained my foot running many years ago and sadly it will flare up if I work or stand in non-supportive shoes for long periods of time. I feel like Cinderella at every fancy event or wedding, because I know the heels will not last till midnight. But at work I still want a stylish comfortable shoes. My sister loves Clark’s so I decided to look into these shoes. After much search, it appears that Clark does not directly sell this style on their site, Amazon and this vendor has the most inventory options, and best price. It was super easy to purchase, return and purchase again. No issues at all very happy with my experience and product. I would recommend buying your actual shoe size. I ordered a 1/2 size down due to the reviews and returned them for my standard size 10, very happy with my purchase. Happy to have some new cute stylish work shoes!

These shoes are beautiful. The black suede is nice and the shoe has good arch support and padding. Unfortunately, I had to send them back, because the area that goes over the instep/top of the foot was sooo uncomfortably tight. I didn’t think that it would ever stretch out enough to be wearable.

I had an earlier pair of these, Clark’s is a fantastic brand. These are comfortable and hold up well to the weather in the Pacific Northwest. I can wipe them down with a damp face cloth and they are good to go.

I already purchased the same shoes in a different colour, so knew the fit. I have arthritis in my feet so can only wear a specific height and width. It is difficult to get stylish shoes when one has arthritic feet.

I really value the reviews and wanted to love this shoe. I thought the support in both the heel and toe box was great. Unfortunately for me, a bit too snug and hitting in the wrong spot for me to 'wait it out'. Sadly I had to return. The good thing, is returns at Softmoc directly at the store is easy and free!!
