Predator (NZ) Hi-Performance Dock Lines and Bag Set (Navy) | 3/8" x 15' Double Braided Nylon Dock Line with 12 Inch Eyelet | Dock Lines for Boats

I PURCHASED THESE LINES IN NOVEMBER 2020. I UTILIZE THE LINES AS DOCK & MOORING LINES. THE VESSEL THEY ARE USE ON IS A BOSTON WHALER 220 DAUNTLESS; 22FT IN LENGTH, 2600 LBS. MY DOCK SLIP HAS A TIDE SLIDE SYSTEM WHICH I USE THESE HIGH PERFORMANCE LINES WITH. I LIVE ON AN ISLAND 8 MILLES OFF THE FLORIDA COAST. THE LINES HAVE BEEN IN USE FOR 3 MONTHS NOW. THEY ARE SUBJECTED TO FULL FLORIDA SUN ALL DAY, SOAKED WITH SALTWATER AS WELL. I AM LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE ISLAND DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH. THE LINES ARE REGULARLY HIT WITH 10-35 KNOT WINDS FROM THE NE,E,SE. SO FAR NO ISSUES. THEY HAVE HELD UP EXTRAORDINARILY WELL IN TOUGH CONDITIONS. THEY STILL LOOK SHARP AND ARE FUNCTIONAL. NO FRAYING OR CHAFFING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE HIGH QUALITY LINES.

For owners of dinghies, lines are always a great present. And when you want to give someone dock lines as a present, you want the the most reliable. If you are not sure what to look for when shopping for dock lines, there are plenty of information on the internet. The best to get are double braided nylon lines like these Predator Hi-Performance Dock Lines. Nylon is more durable and stretchy then polyester lines. The last thing you want is polyester dock lines to break or damage the hardware on the boat because of it's rigidness.These dock lines comes with high quality packaging and the rectangle box is perfect for gift wrapping. (Do not try gift wrap rope if it does not come in a box)Please note, these dock lines are only designed for boats under 27 foot. You need thicker and longer dock lines for larger boats. Hopefully we will see more product from this company in the future.

These come in a beautiful box! Other than that they are pretty worthless. 2 out of the 4 have snapped in half on my 23’ sailboat on 2 different occasions. This caused several hundred dollars worth of damage to the boat. Do yourself a favor and spend the money for decent lines.

Overpriced, poor durability. Fancy box says "New Zealand" but made in China. Mine didn't last a month, and that's with a small aluminum boat. You will lose your boat with these lines

I love these lines and I get complements all the time on them. They are firm and have a very tight sold loop pattern that is less prone to snagging on pillars / docks. They are perfect for launching and docking. Since they are so thick and stitched so tight they are easier to maneuver and loop around my trailer guide poles. I wish I had ordered a second set instead of trying out the waves knock off lines for half the cost. The waves lines don’t even come close to the quality of these lines. Save yourself the disappointment and get these from the start.
