Great game
I am a huge fan of this game, I strongly recommend it, as it's fun and interactive. The box and content were perfect. Delivery was uneventful, although it took longer than on other occasions.

Excellent
Very simple rules - just a double sided sheet. However the game has significant depth and different strategies to explore. That, combined with a quick and fun gameplay makes it one of my favourite games. In addition, the art is stunningly beautiful and the components are great - big tarot size cards, metal coins, big wooden cubes and bows for them.

One of my most entertaining games purchases to date
This review is for Plan B Games - 'Century: Spice Road' - Board Game It took me a while to catch on to what this game is about, but that's probably just me. It appeals to just about everyone who is introduced to it, and the challenge (for me at least) is to do better next time. It plays very quickly - before you know it, it's your turn again, and it's a real 'plate-spinner' of a game - trying to balance what you need to do to advance your strategy against what you can do at this very moment to stop another player beating you to a merchant card or acquisition purchase - very involving. And you find out who has won (highest value purchases plus coins) right at the end, so the game-play itself is the thing. The artwork and component quality are excellent, but the 'theme' is hardly relevant to the game itself: what matters is the cards in your hand that enable you to trade up to and acquire the differently coloured game cubes (=spices??) on your 'market' card to be able to buy your next acquisition card and the victory points on it. Highly recommended.
