Wanted a carry case for the groom's suit that would travel by plane and be waterproof, just in case. We asked the plane crew to let us hang it in their little vertical wardrobe at the front of the plane along with the wedding gown and they were very helpful!

Perfect for storing my wedding dress

Not everybody likes to dress up for dinner on cruises. But we do. So we needed a way to transport our fancy duds, and these garment bags are the answer. We bought two of them, one for my husband and one for me. My biggest concern was that the mechanism at the top might not hold the hangers securely and that my dresses might not all fit. And that they would be in a wrinkled pile at the bottom of the bag when they were delivered to our stateroom. Let me tell you, this item has exceeded expectations! Not only does it hold 7 or 8 dresses, it does so securely, and they are still on their hangers when I open up the bag. The long dress I wear pools a little at the bottom of the bag but doesn’t wrinkle. My husband’s jackets and tuxedo fit in his just right, too. The bags fold over and are secured by strong Velcro, and there is a handle for carrying like a suitcase. We couldn’t be happier and plan to take them on a lot of cruises since we are now determined to act like we are retired!!

I had a destination wedding and needed something to hold my dress while we traveled. All of the bags that I was looking at seemed to be made with fabric that could easily rip, snag, and allow liquids to soak right through - definitely not what you want when traveling with such precious cargo. However, this garment bag is vastly different from all the rest. Here are my pros and cons about the bag: PROS - very durable and thick material - spill-proof/water resistant - clamp at the top makes it easy to insert hangers while also keeping them in place - heavy-duty handles on both ends to allow for easy folding/transport - fits multiple clothing items in the bag at one time (my wedding dress, my husband's tux, my shoe box) - based on the other bag options that I have seen, this bag is exceptionally priced, especially for the quality that you get CONS - while the clamp for the hangers is extremely useful and a million times better than the standard hanger hole you see in garment bags, it still does allow for movement of the hangers which can be a slight inconvenience at times - I wish they had a slightly longer bag because 60" was not enough length to fit my dress in without having to bunch up the train and get it all wrinkled

I would like for it to have more room for hangers.
