Can you use previous Infinity characters on the 3.0 set?

Yes. You can play old figures on new system but not new figures on old system.

Well it depends on what gamesystem you play on wii for example you use wii remotes

Is this "base" included necessary if one already has a base? I have the 2.0

As I understand it you need the 3.0 Base in order to play the 3.0 Games and Characters. Your 2.0 characters will work on the 3.0 Base but not vice versa
