Is there any way for small insects to enter this bin? I live in Hawaii and the flies will get into this if there is an opening.

Is it pretty east to clean if you don't use a liner?

I have always used a liner, but I have washed it out just as I would any other dish or container with no problems. It is easy to dry and start using right away after washing.

Are there replacement filters available?

To those who answered yes, where do you get them? I could not locate them here or on Wayfair or Walmart. Please answer this.
