Ubisoft Rocksmith 2014 Edition Remastered - PlayStation 4 Standard Edition

I really like Rocksmith and have played it sparingly over the years. It is fun to turn an electric guitar into a controller for this game. You can play the game like Guitar Hero and just get through each song mostly to enjoy listening to it, or you can take your time and try to learn the entire song. A few years ago I gave this game a try and tried learning the music seriously but found it frustrating as my skill level wasn't good enough. This time around I've been playing just to hear the songs and have a little fun with it. I'm looking forward to the new Rocksmith but I don't think I'll be any good at it.

I love this instructional “game”. Use a real guitar not some plastic toy.The lessons are helpful, there is a huge library of music and the DLC’s are great.There are games too, that increase your speed and accuracy. My skill has gotten much better since ROCKSMITH (RS).Now will this turn you into Jimmy Page. No. Nor can it replace a good instructor but if you don’t have time to go to a music teacher or the money, RS is a good solid alternative.Pros: Huge Library of SongsAble to play Lead or Rhythm or even Bass.Games entertainingHelps song masteryCons: sometimes on seriously down tuned songs it says chord or note is wrong. Adding Heavier strings on the Bottom helps.Sometimes RS hear the chord correctly but your ear know it was crap.Sessions mode is meh! Maybe it’s just me.You have to use an analog sound device or there will be a serious lag from strum to sound. Some PS4 only have HDMI and digital cable. Then you have to get a convert box. Bit of a pain but they’re cheap on Amazon.Overall I would highly recommend this Game.

Actualmente hay mucha tecnología relacionada con la práctica y aprendizaje de la guitarra; sin embargo uno de los aspectos más importantes y difícil es que logren evocar motivación. Rocksmith 2014, por medio de un interesante inicial acervo de canciones (en DLC tienen varias más) y una serie de mini-juegos (usando la guitarra como control y técnicas de guitara como "combos"), retos, tutoriales y retroalimentación, logra mantenerte estimulado.En muy poco tiempo y sin darte cuenta de que estás practicando ya habrás aprendido algunas canciones pero sobretodo te habrás familiarizado bastante con tu guitarra.Todo por un precio menor que clases y con mayor conveniencia.NOTA: El delay del sonido puede volverse molesto, yo utilizo un Y Splitter Box para enviar una señal a mi amplificador y otra al PS4, además en configuración del juego le bajo el volumen a la guitarra de manera que escucho mi guitarra en mi amplificador y el resto de la música y audio en la TV.

The game itself is excellent. The only problem was that with the disc being from a different region I wasn't able to download the DLC songs , which was one of the reasons I decided to buy the game. I had to end up getting the digital version of the game via PSN so it would allow me to get the DLCs. Kinda overall bad experience with the purchase. The game is really good though.
