I am looking to fix the door hinges of a ikea pax wardrobe with a stripped the screw hole. doors are heavy and can i apply this and screw it after?

Use glue and a wooden matchstick. Put wood glue in the stripped hole. Insert the matchstick and let dry. Cut the matchstick flush with the surface and drill a new hole. Larger holes use multiple matchsticks or slivers of wood

Can this be used to fill holes in an RV? I want to remove the window boxes and curtains.
