It doesn’t work, whenever I put it into a 3ds it said the game card can’t work, the seller probably knew about it and sold to to make Money

Confused by many of these reviews that give one star. I haven't' played a Pokémon game since red and blue. Recently, I got the itch to play and after doing some research purchased a used Nintendo 3DS XL and this game. I live in the USA and had no issues using a world edition game. Apparently, they are worth less than a US version but still manufactured by Nintendo. I chose buying a cartridge over a digital copy from the eShop because I like being able to lend, resell or gift my games when I am done with them. Also, the price is the same $39.99 on the eShop and around $40 for the hardcopy.On the first installation of the cartridge into the 3DS I was prompted with a software update. Per the attached photos I was asked to select a language and then the game played normally. So far the game has no issues and I can save and load. I haven't got far but having a good time.

Everything was fresh. The package it came in, was nice and packed. Brand new. Nostalgic game with the same music as the original from GBA
