SNUFFING ADORABLE!!
Snuffy was one of my absolute favorite characters from the 70's and 80's! Do I need this at my age? Nope not at all, but I just couldn't resist, especially as he's made by GUND. And that he looks exactly like the Snuffy I remember as a child. How I came across this listing to begin with, I've no idea. But I am extremely happy that I did! ~Comes packaged in an official GUND plastic bag. ~ No odors or weird smells. ~ Extremely soft and plush. ~ Embroidered eyes with lashes. ~ Mouth with soft fabric and embroidery. ~ Approximately 16" long. ~ Felted feet. ~ Top notch quality. ~ Made in China.👎🏼 ~ Professionally tagged/Genuine Sesame Street for GUND. ~ Expensive, but this is a case of getting what you paid for. ~ Poly Fiber ~ Excellent for gift giving. I can see this particular plushie being fantastic for children with sensory issues as his fur is beyond soft, and perfect for running little fingers through. Great for a wide array of different childhood disorders. For that matter, I highly recommend him for seniors in care homes, or hospital. The length and shape is absolutely perfect for cuddling and holding. Not too big, nor too small. Making him also perfect for traveling with. He'd be a fantastic addition for collectors as a decor piece. I appreciate the attention to detail. He's not quite as plush/fluffy as shown in the description photos, but beautifully made all the same. I took a brush for dolls and ran it through his poly fiber coat. He fluffed up even more. (Post photos) From what I can tell, as long as he's placed inside a lingerie laundry bag, he should fair well being put into the washing machine on occasion, and tumbled dry on low, while still in a lingerie bag. The tags don't have any care instructions that I can see. I'd recommend using a doll hair brush for regular cleaning and maintenance, as well as to preserve his longevity if being used for cuddling with. As for any dirt or food that might end up on him, a damp cloth will work just fine for removing any messes. While he is on the expensive side, I do feel that he's worth every penny. That said, watch for sales. Highly, HIGHLY recommend for young and old alike! He's a pure joy to look at that can not help but make one smile!! ☆Photos taken with my flash on. Hope this helps. :)
