Pure Fix Bike Pro Foot Strap

Solid straps at a low price. They haven't come undone yet. The branding is large, but doesn't look bad. I was not expecting metal tips on the ends of the straps, but I suppose it keeps them looking good. The hook-and-loop grips strong and has not yet come undone. I've only used these for a couple of days, but no marks on my shoes yet.No, they are not as solid as clipless pedals, but I like that I don't need special shoes to get a little bit more power and stopping ability on my fixed gear bike.Installation actually confused me a bit, I feel really stupid but I kept inserting them backwards or upside down when trying to match the alignment of the pedal logos. I'm glad I looked up a video, because I would not have known to cross the two smaller straps in an X-pattern as is suggested.

I didn't agree with PureFixTV on how to install them. I installed the longer strap to the back. This made it much easier to adjust to fit my foot, which happens to have a bigger diameter in the back than than the front. They were packaged correctly, but that instruction video confused me. From there, I love them. I love the foot retention feel on my fixed gear bike, and now I have to be careful when I track stand at stops. Look sharp, work great, inexpensive.

The straps are well made. Sometimes when you go around tight corners the silver metal on the strap scraps the ground... This scraping is probably a safety feature and appreciated. But be warned that these Pure Fix Pro Foot Straps did not fit the Wellgo pedals my PureCycles fixed gear bike came equipped with. I had to modify (read trim/cut) the straps to fit the pedals and also widen pedal holes slightly. You could also just by Wellgo pedal straps instead but I did not want to bother with a return and I liked the PureFix Straps better. (the two parts of the straps that lace through the pedal openings are about 7/8 of an inch wide (approx 22mm) each. Each strap has two of these laces. The strap itself is 2 inches wide.

These are great for adding to BMX pedals. I've got them on a fixed gear bike and they are better than any other foot retention component. They're easy to get in and out of, provide good control, and can be used with any size shoe. Toe cages and smaller pedals often don't work well with wider and larger shoes. Strap setups usually make for a larger pedal, so you have to pay more attention to pedal strike, but I think it's worth it for city riding.Overall good quality, and easy to install and use. I'm happy. Get these and pop them on a good bmx pedal, you'll be happy too.

And they look cool too. May take some time getting used to but I recommend using straps if you want to go faster or if you want to do cool tricks.

Keeps my feet in place and easily adjusts for different shoes. I've been using these almost daily for about 4 years. They still function perfectly; the velcro has lasted surprisingly long, but there's definitely some wear and tear. Most of that comes from pedaling before getting my feet in the straps and they scrape on the ground. The color has also faded quite a bit from repeated sun/rain exposure, but you can still tell what color they are.

It took a minute to figure out how to install them, but once on the bike they work well. This is my first time using foot straps, and I like how wide and comfortable they are. One concern was being able to get them cinched down tight for longer rides on a fixie. But the design makes it very easy to cinch the first foot in with one foot on the ground standing still. Once you start riding and get the other pedal flipped over it's easy to wiggle your foot forward and get a very secure connection to the pedal.

After Amazon sending me the wrong bike, I returned it and got the bike that I actually ordered within 2 days - that was fast! Assembled the bike - very easy and quick. I also bought the foot straps which help specifically going uphill. I like the look of the bike! Quality seems ok with a few exceptions. The front brake is horrible. You better make sure you have a lot of distance to come to a stop 'cause with that brake, you'll need it. Also, the brake when applied a bit more forcefully screeches that people will turn around. Probably not a bad thing given that at least they'll notice you're coming. The front wheel doesn't seem to be 100% aligned...a very very slight rotational wobble...but nothing too bad compared with the awful brake. I'll see whether some new/better brake pads will do the trick. Otherwise I like the bike.As for the foot straps, it would help to include some instructions on how to install them onto the pedals. I put them on the pedals, but am actually not sure whether I have done it the right way. There is also nothing on you tube or online to give some guidance.

I ordered this one in blue and it was a pretty nice colour. It was vibrant and didn't look cheap. The strap didn't fit my pedal however and I had to get slightly bigger ones but my pedals were already small to begin with. The strap so far has been really useful. The material was great and I've been able to stop on my bike now. The value is pretty great too for what it is. Definitely would recommend.

Die Montage ging relativ simpel, wenn auch etwas fummelig.Mit Klettverschluss lässt sich die Größe sehr leicht anpassen.Kurz gesagt: Alles was ich wollte.Ich bin zufrieden!

Ces straps sont vraiment faciles à installer et régler en fonction de la paire de chaussures que vous portez. Je trouve le look super, dommage qu'Amazon ne mette pas l'ensemble des coloris de la marque.

El material es de buena calidad, hasta ahora han resistido bien
