My sister bought the first Lollacup for him for Christmas 2 years ago and we bought a second for him for Christmas last year. Besides some basic scratches and the straw being a little discolored, this cup is still in excellent shape. We have never had a sippy cup hold up this well!One complaint I have had of other straw sippy cups was that my children would bite the straw and ruin it. Not this one! I don't know what material it is made of but it is very durable, even holding up to toddler biting for several years. I love the way the handles attach. The weight straw is amazing, he can get almost every last drop of water out of the cup, instead of having some left on the bottom like with other cups. I actually find it easy to clean, I just disassemble the straw and put the pieces in the dishwasher and it cleans very well. Like with any cup, it's not 100% spill-proof and my son had a short-lived stage that he would shake it and fling water. I'm not sure if I have found a sippy cup that is spill proof, though (and those that are so air-tight, tend to have the pressure build up so liquids travel up the straw and spills out, which has happened with a few sippy cups we have owned).We love this cup and would highly recommend it to anyone! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The first cup my daughter liked! *by Z***R on Reviewed in the United States on 14 February 2014* You know the story - we've tried several different types of sippy cups, none of which my daughter would drink from. She played around with it at dinner, laughed at the cute face, but at breakfast the next morning she was drinking out of it like a champ. The cup is very easy to clean and I like how the handles come off so she can use it when she's feeling too old for the handles. The straw is weighted so that it stays in the liquid no matter what angle she is trying to drink from. The only thing I don't like (and it's not enough to deduct a star), is that the straw has gotten little stained, presumably from whatever food she may have in her mouth at the time she takes a drink. No matter how much I wash it, it stays a little stained. But it's really not that big of a deal to me, because the cup functions so well overall. As a bonus (and actually one of the main reasons I wanted this cup), it is made in the USA.Edited to add that it will leak a tiny bit if turned upside down, but I think that is to be expected and it is certainly not an issue for us.
