Pimple patch hack!
I saw a reel on insta talking about how she buys hydrocolloid patches (meant for wound dressing) instead of the totally overpriced pimple patches. Itâs the same thing!! Except your dollar goes WAY further with the bandages than the pimple patches, AND you can cut these into whatever shape or size you want!I thought it was genius. Why hadnât I ever thought of that đ€Łđ€ŠđœââïžThatâs exactly what I bought these for â to use as pimple patches as needed. Works just the same as any pimple patches you find in the beauty isles at the store! The only thing is, I have found that the edges donât seal down on the skin quite as well if you cut them up into different sizes. The workaround Iâve found is to just cut the size a little bigger than you actually need it to be, just in case any of the patch lifts off the skin.

Highly recommend - life saver!
These are fantastic! If you need a large one theyâve obviously got you covered, but you can also cut them to custom-fit if need be. Highly recommend as they draw out impurities and expedite healing! They stick really well but donât hurt to pull off - just pull to the side and not directly away from the area itâs adhered to, if that makes sense.

Good gift for a friend with unwanted scars :3
Things like this have worked in the past for me, but I bought these as a gift to my friend with visible scars to help during swimsuit season. I have yet to give it to them, but for the price and amount, very good value. I'll update if there's any noticeable difference in visibility đđ

Clear elastic wound dressing
Iâve just tried one, it adhered well and will probably work well once my would stops oozing. With it oozing it only lasted 30 minutes before it started leaking.

Very effective for healing skin wounds
The doctor's office used these after some minor skin issues. I was amazed at how quickly and completely the wound healed. So I wanted these for the house. I have used them for scrapes and abrasions. Works wonderfully.

Absolutely Fantastic for Pressure Ulcers
I had a pressure ulcer on my ankle presumably from ill-fitting shoes that just wasnât getting better with over two months of traditional wound care. I did some research and turned out I had some slough in the wound (mine was like a yellowish drainage that was too thin to be pus), and one of the solutions I kept coming across for treatment of slough was hydrocolloid bandages. Apparently slough interferes with your bodyâs ability to heal a wound and it wonât get better without the slough being debrided, and hydrocolloid bandages promote your body being able to do something called âautolytic debridementâ which I guess is where your body uses enzymes to break down the slough. Good stuff! Well anyway nothing else was working so I gave these a try, figuring what did I have to lose? Yes theyâre a bit expensive but I was able to cut them in half which helped. Iâm happy to report that after just a month and a half of using these, on what was a Stage 3 pressure ulcer, the wound has FINALLY completely closed and the ulcer is nearly all the way healed!! I have no doubt these are to thank for that considering I was trying so many other things (regular bandages, gauze, ointments, antibacterial ointments), none of which worked for over two months during which time the wound actually got progressively worse. Some tips Iâd like to share (since I used these for so long, Iâve definitely come to know a few):1) Use the .3 mm if your wound is on a joint area, use the .5 if it isnât. Mine was by my ankle and at first I was trying to use the thicker ones and kept getting frustrated at how hard it was to get them to stay stuck on. Once I switched to the thinner ones, they still came off every now and then (mostly if I tried to apply them when my skin wasnât completely dry yet), but for the most part they stayed on much better.2) Just because you can keep these on for several days without changing them, doesnât mean youâll be able to. Personally the wound I was dealing with had a LOT of drainage, especially at first, and something I came to notice is if I left the bandage on too long without changing it with a lot of drainage, it would start itching and feel very uncomfortable. Changing them more frequently helped tremendously. I actually had to change mine more or less every day. Expensive, yes, but more comfortable.3) Wear these while bathing or showering, especially at first. I would always just clean my wound and change the bandage after bathing for the day. The reason being is I found the soaps/bath liquids and other things irritated the wound. Wearing the bandage in helped protect it from that discomfort. Eventually when it started to get a little better I would take the bandage off for showers only and just made sure to keep any soap suds away from the area.4) Honestly there were stages of the wound healing that were just painful sometimes. These bandages reduced the pain some, but there were phases in healing where I had some discomfort no matter what. Dabbing a little lidocaine liquid or triple antibiotic ointment with numbing before putting on the dressing helped with this quite a bit. So did making sure to wipe off any extra gel adhesive that built up around the wound (idk if itâs true for everyone but when it built up that gel was a little irritating to my skin).Anyway, I think thatâs about it! Long read but I hope it helps someone else: I canât even begin to share how ecstatic I am that for the first time in months the skin by my ankle is finally completely intact, ALL thanks to these bandages. So I just had to come on here and tell everyone else how great these are!
