Yes. I wrote on some storage canvas boxes and I had no problem.

Will this work on silk?

I don't have any to try it on, but it has worked on everything else I've written on with this pen. From paper, cotton, and plastics.

How long does ink in pen last?

I used once 5 years ago, then just now used again & it still works!!!

I have difficulty when these great fabric marking pens dry up. Do you have any remedy?

Just make sure the lid is on tight. I have not had the drying up quick as much with this pen as with others I've tried.
