Very soft and different. I like the idea of being able to change the scarf too. It is quite a snug tight feel might be too much for summer months. Either that or I have a big head!

If there is a strong wind, even in summer when wind is warm (but especially with cool/cold wind in other seasons), I get earaches. There's always jackets and hoodies but in summer it's often too warm for those. Headbands keep sliding back off my ears. I don't want to have to take time to pin them all over my head plus that isn't comfortable. This hat is ideal! It is light and comfy. If I want extra ear protection, I can tie on the scarf. My head measurement (over ears/eyebrows) is 22-3/4" and the hat stretches to fit and stays in place. It is not too tight.

Very difficult to wear this hat with the scarf. While the hat is very soft, lightweight and comfortable, the scarf is a write-off. It does not stay put esp. as it is shown, and even when pinned with several safety pins.. You'll be removing the scarf immediately to use for another purpose. Without the scarf as advertised, I'd give it a 5 star rating but due to the total uselessness of the scarf, I'm giving it a 4. However I like the hat itself VERY MUCH and have since bought the chocolate brown one plus I had the light grey. I wanted this hat bcz I have very sensitive ears to the wind and this helps cover them in the spring/autumn months. I'm sure anyone would love this soft comfortable hat.

I have a large head and fibromyalgia (get frequent migraines). It was too tight on me and I got an instant headache so I had to return it. That all being said the quality was great and if it had been an inch or two bigger I would have loved to keep and wear it. You can buy your own scarves seperately to switch up the pattern. Perfect for everyday wear and hiding hair loss in a pretty new way.
