Buy this - don't buy compatible parts for major components.
I saw compatible parts for 50% less, but in all honesty the air filter is key to how well your hoover will work. I have the Miele C3 in red for cats & dogs. Although I have no pets, I bought it as it had all the extra attachments at a fair price on amazon a few years ago. The original part filter plugs into place within a few seconds & works brilliantly. I have read poor reviews of the compatible part equivalents, & after giving it some thought, to save £10 & possibly have the hoover not work so well seemed really a bad idea. It needs clean filtered air to stay working efficiently, & the last thing you want is a filter that lets the gunk float all over your home & not collect these fine particles. So to sum up pay a few quid more & carry on using your Miele as well as the day that you bought it. 5 Stars performace & quality.

Lohnendes Zubehör!
Zunächst einmal die Angaben des Herstellers zum Miele Active AirClean Filter SF-AA 50: - Geeignet für: S 4000 - S 6999, S 8000 - S 8999 - Miele Original Nr.: 7226150 - Bindet unangenehme Gerüche - Effektive Filterwirkung - Staubsaugerzubehör Schon in meinem vorherigen Miele-Staubsauger habe ich einen Active AirClean Filter verwendet, ich war bislang sehr zufrieden damit, denn er verhindert zuverlässig unschöne Gerüche, die manch anderer Sauger gerne von sich gibt. So machte ich mich dann in der Betriebsanleitung meines neuen Saugers kundig, welches Filtermodell hier geeignet wäre (man kann hierzu auch die Intenetseite des Herstellers bemühen, dort erfährt man, welches Zubehör zu welchem Saugermodell gehört und/oder dafür verfügbar ist). Ich besitze einen Miele Bodenstaubsauger Complete C3 EcoLine Plus, auch für diesen (obwohl oben nicht aufgeführt) wird der SF-AA50 verwendet. Zwei schnelle Handgriffe und der Filter ist eingesetzt, dann kann es auch schon losgehen. Keine unangenehmen Gerüche mehr ... vorbildlich! Trotz des nicht gerade niedrigen Preises sollte man den Filter regelmäßig austauschen, je nach Häufigkeit der Benutzung nach etwa 9 bis 12 Monaten. Dieser Filter verfügt sogar über einen timestrip®: Dieser zeigt an, wann der Filter gewechselt werden muss, um die Filterwirkung zu erhalten. Gute Idee, ein lohnendes Zubehör!

Perfect replacement filter for the Miele C2
Perfect fit for a Miele C2. It was authentic, it behaves as it is supposed to with appropriate seal, dust retention and filtration. We only realized how bad our filter was (very dark grey on the back) when we saw the white new one. We are very appreciative of Miele for making such a good product no problems with it since purchased in 2018. Thank you also to the supplier for making this easy to obtain and good value for money.

Miele filter is the best! Works great! No issues!
Miele original filter is fantastic and you really can't go wrong. I bought a used Compact C2 and used it for a bit before I realized I needed a filter change on it. After cleaning out the vac with some 70% isopropyl alcohol and a new filter the exhaust air coming out was so clean and didn't smell at all. You can't go wrong with any Miele products. Filter works great and highly recommend! Keep cleaning!
