**Q: Not familar with this.  What does it smell like?**
A: This palo santo essential oil most god-awful scent you can imagine. I have been using the wood, palo santo, for 15 years and this is not IT. I have used other oils from Plant Therapy and expected better from them. This plo santo oil is poorly made, and its smell of turpentine, gasoline, or burnt oil overpowers you, and gives you a headache.

**Q: Does this physically and energetically cleanse the same regard as burning the wood?**
A: I have burned Palo Santo for therapeutic purposes for many years. This oil is awful, does not smell at all like Palo Santo. Smells like burned gasoline. Quite awful. I will call the company to learn more about their process. I wonder how can they sell this. I can't imagine that anyone will find this essential oil calming.

**Q: Is this palo santo sustainably harvested? I saw that the tree it comes from is critically endangered. Please only answer if you know.**
A: It sure is. Only branches that have dropped from the trees are used is what I read. I did read the tree is endangered, I am not sure how accurate that is, from further research I did all means of harvesting Palo Santo are ethically harvested. I love Plant Therapy's products, I suggest going to the website to read more.

**Q: I have used the palo santo incense and the sticks and they smell amazing. i don’t know if i’m using this wrong but it does not smell good**
A: It doesn't smell like the incense or sticks.
