Goody Woodgrain Hair Brush #04391

I have used this type of brush since 20 years ago, and I keep purchasing the same.

This is the closest match I could find to a goody hair brush which I had for about 25 years. Yeah I got my money's worth out of that one. I had one in my car and one in my bathroom. The one in my car snapped while I was brushing my hair. Why I went in and looked at the one in the bathroom I put some pressure on it bending it and it snapped in half. I guess they've taken a lot of abuse over the years. So I bought this since it looked just like the one I had. But the bristle is a lot harder probably it's made cheaper. I do like it better than a softer bristle goodie brush I bought although don't be in too much of a hurry to brush your hair because it can hurt!

I like this brush but I wish it was made out of wood not plastic. The bristles a nice and firm. It's made well. It's the perfect size and easy to use for my hair type. It's not hard to clean.

I have waist length straight hair. I've been using Goody brushes for decades. The bristles are very stiff, so they penetrate all the way to my scalp and are strong enough to brush through my hair to get rid of all tangles without breaking my hair. The bristles can feel a bit sharp when the brush is new, which is a good thing for me. I like the way they feel on my scalp and I believe that the stiff bristles stimulate my scalp and contribute to healthy hair, even as I have become a "senior". BTW, I also find them to be excellent back scratchers too.
