I have a decorative bridge with shallow planters on either side. Unfortunately, it's located in a spot in which it's very difficult to grow anything. So, I decided to plant some fake succulents in them, and I wanted something that would hold the stems firmly in place, since it gets very windy where I live.These foam blocks are really great. They're sturdy, and they hold stems really well. There is one caveat. If you have to trim these, wear some disposable gloves, and trim them over something you can throw away. I had to trim mine a bit so that they wouldn't be so tall, and it was kind of a messy job.I have no idea how well these are going to hold up outside, so if they don't do well over a short period of time, I'll do an update. Otherwise, I highly recommend them.

These worked as expected, I just wish they were not so messy.
